TM803 Digital Thermometer Fridge Freezer Thermometer 2 sensors ºC ºF ± 1ºC 3m Cable min max

I have always had a soft-spot for Fluke, so when I found this 'look alike' at a very competitive price, I had to buy one. Looked around others as well, but this won in the end.Works a dream. Nice solid construction. Auto-ranging saves all the knob twiddling. Proper display, no cheap-skate '1' in the final digit. Also like the analogue bar-display as it makes it easy to see a fluctuating reading, something a normal digital display won't show you.Can't fault it!

The meter was delivered on time and was well packed.I bought it for a friend and he is delighted with it. He checked the meter on trusted components and was satisfied with the readings. He even found that a sealed component that he thought was a resistor was really an inductor.He is very critical so if he is pleased it must be good.

Measures capacitance and inductance. Can even work as a crude metal detector if measures big coil with air core. But measurments arent as precise as i expected, several % drift for each reconnect of the wires, or turning on\off. Connectors are not 90* angle, straight up, so they keep getting in a way. And wires are too short, i guess its needed for precision. Still nice for its price, works well for education purposes.

After working in electronics for over 50 years and using expensive L-C-R test equipment ,I needed to make and measure some inductors after having retired .Seeing this bit of kit on Amazon, I bought it and was pleasantly surprised how accurate and straightforward it was to use. Good range for testing most inductors ,capacitors and resistors. Represents excellent value for money. Very pleased with it.

Bought one of these as old meter died and it looked good based on other reviews and functionality. Sorry to say was disappointed. Out of the box the battery was low and so readings and auto ranging was all over the place. Swapped batteries and seemed to improve a bit. However with new batteries it struggled to produce a continuous beep on continuity check when the leads were shorted and nipped. Got fed up in the end and purchased a cheapo LAP MAS830B from screwfix to get me through the job. Fortunately the leads on the MAS830B fit nicely in this model and its now usable. Still gives fluctuating readings on resistances but perhaps you accept that on a £30 model. Perhaps I was unlucky, perhaps I have a dodgy unit/leads but I was outside the return window so I couldn't return.

Good meter,clear lettering,soft case is too soft and hanging handle on the inside?.A problem is the on/off switch is easily switched on in the soft case.There are probe supports on the back,in practical for the probe supplied.However the probe length are good,to prevent add.cap.effect.Accuracy of measurement seems accurate,comp.to fixed cap.values.As I do not have other cap.meter,I have no other devices to compare with as its quality.

Complete waste of money. Only tried to use it to fault find on boilers, focusing on voltage and resistance... but can't rely on this piece of junk for either!! Bought it a year and never used till recently, but gonna seek a refund anyway, they shouldn't be selling crap like this!!!

Its similar in spec to the fluke....obviously a lot cheaper in both cost and build qualitySo far so good it works and I can't ask for more, I use it for servicing and fault finding on boilers and its perfectly OK for my needs
