A classic, razor sharp, mandolin slicer.
A classic mandolin slicer, that is razor sharp. In the past, I have bought fancier ones, which never work properly. This one is so sharp that I wear a chain mail oyster shucking glove, to protect my fingers. I suspect that you see professional chefs using this on cooking programmes.

Works great, but be careful!
Fantastic product! Watch your fingers though, I thought I knew better and the first time I used it I sliced the tip of my thumb and almost had to go to the hospital... be smarter than me! Other than my user error, this mandolin is quite a quality product and my favorite thing about it is that I can get replacement blades for it, which makes it one of those things you buy once and never need to buy them again. I am able to cut garlic in paper thin slices, which is really useful. The device is easy to clean as well and it doesn't require much to keep in tip top shape. This particular model is a bit smaller than the standard, but I'm also not a power user so it's perfect for the occasional onion slices for smash burgers, or garlic slices for garlic butter, etc. Worth every penny!
