Yet again, amazing!
Without a doubt I am addicted to the not at all boring writings of Eric Vall. What can I say other than tight and entertaining writing? Why I'm glad you asked. In this installment, Jacob and his sensational squad of sensual succubi take on Hell itself. If you have gotten to this point from the previous 5 installments and can't feel the same heart pumping excitement, then I feel sorry for ya, kid.Now that I got that summary out of the way, how in the unholy hell does Eric Vall pump out fantastic and well written novel after well written novel multiple times a month. I am starting to suspect that Eric Vall is not an actual human being, but the pen name for the village of gnomes who used to make shoes before losing their contract with Nike to Chinese sweatshop infants, and decided that modern pulp writing was the way to go. I am not in any way complaining (other than the fact that I am going to have to wait just shy of a month to read the next installment of this fantastic series, comforting myself with the Summoner series in the meantime) because being an Ice and Fire fan the rate this guy pumps out these books in a speed that could melt faces. At this speed and this well polished (I only found one typo in this book) Vall is well worth the investment of your time. The only thing that I didn't like about this installment is that if this was a TV show, we are absolutely in a two part episode. While each installment sets up a problem and then resolves that specific problem within the same book, this one book so far is the exception, since we are clearly gearing up for a fight that has been coming from the very first book. My feelings are largely selfish and I can absolutely wait. Thankfully, it won't be long before my hunger for more will be satiated. In short. This book was yet another fantastic installment by an author that is consistently fantastic.

Probably my favorite one so far!
I'm a big fan of Eric Vall's writing, so I've read everything he's published to date. He's got quite a few series going right now, but Succubus Lord might be my favorite. This series is just so much fun, from the great action scenes, the camaraderie/humor between the characters, and did I mention...FUN! That said, I think this volume is my favorite in the series so far. Up to this point, the plot has followed a relatively similar setup: Jake and Co. fight some of Azazel's minions, get one of his succubi to turn tail and join the team, and have a blast along the way. In book 6 however, it's time to take the fight to hell. When they head down, Jake can't take all the succubi with him, so Vall came up with an interesting mechanic where Jake can have up to two of his companions with him at a time. This allows each succubus some dedicated screen time to showcase their talents, and serves as an entertaining new element to the story. Also, the setting of Hell is really well done. Five stars all the way!

Good read
If you like his writing, this will not disappoint. He follows his known pattern of interaction with his succubus his devil imp buddy Todd, and his need to recreate the circle of sin.The most interesting bit was his description of the first four circles of hell, and now I want to re-read Dante's version, just to see if he followed that. Really enjoyed the interaction with Plato and the references and tie-in to his philosophical treatise The Cave and what man's ultimate motivation may be.If you like this type of literature(and you're reading book 6), I suggest you continue to the next one.

STOP and just buy it already.
If you have not read the previous book/s in this series stop reading this now and go and read and then come back.OK here is what I do for reviews for series. If you are reading this I am assuming you have already read the previous Book/s in this series (refer to comment above). You already know this book is good so anything I say now is redundant and I am now wondering why you have not already hit the Buy button instead of wasting valuable reading time reading this review. Go on, you know you will, hit Buy and enjoy. Bye :)

Another good book
One main character. Not okay for teens. Fast paced story. Want more books in this series. Hope to see more soon.

both more, and less action than the last couple books
once again this is a great series, worthy of being read. it does seem to have more action than the other books in the series with a partial boss rush showing up towards the end and less action as the characters have gotten much stronger and tend to stomp mudholes in the people that gave them trouble not too long ago.still, it is an excellent book and I will be buying and reading the rest of them.

Love Them All
Eric is a wonderful blessing for readers. He so creatively and deliciously is able to keep all of his characters as if they were real intelligent human beings, as real people and within the world Eric creates for them they perform naturally. A real skill as a writer I believe. Truly love all his books my personal favorite the Summoner Series.

No more please
I thought this series was over and done. Eric Vall has great ideals and plots for his books and I guess for young readers, young being 18-20 years old that is good enough. I feel of the books I have read by Eric Vall he tends to repeat a lot of what he has done almost like he has a formula in his had of what haram should be like and he never seems to open up the world or the depth of the people in his books. This book you have the MC that tries to sleep with every female he comes along and he is to be a kinda nerd not really all that built just an average looking joe. Granted most are Succubus that he comes along but that just it even the girls that stay with him are just 2d. There is nothing behind them to make you really care for this story. The storyline gets old really quick. Sum it up, if you are looking for a nonsense book that just to help you get your rocks off then this is great, if you are looking for something more then I use my force powers and say "these are not the books you are looking for.".

Amazing read.
I love this series. The mixture of sexy times and the magical demon-fighting is fantastic. This series is rapidly becoming my favourite reads yet and I'm waiting for book 7 with anticipation. The ending snuck up on me, even though you get a percentage figure of how far through you are and that's the kind of book I love. One that can make me forget time. Admittedly, that's a bit of a problem when I'm reading it on my breaks at work, but that's just how good I think this book, and Eric Vall's writing is.

Part 1
A little bit of a change of location for the main character, but it slowly makes its way to the culmination of the current arc, with a mention of a few characters from the divine comedy.Essentially a 2 parter, this being part 1
