Qualsen Window Film Privacy Film for Glass Windows, Leaf Pattern 44.3x200cm

EXCELLENT! This window film arrived so quickly - well packed - and at a great price. As there was a selection/range of sizes, we were able to get one that would easily fit our front door and porch windows. This is strong stuff - the adhesion is amazing; the instructions for applying the film were very clear, and there were tools included to help with the 'finishing'. The colour/pattern of the film is perfect - and instantly the privacy was evident as it was impossible to see through the glass - and in this current hot weather, it also reduced brightness and heat. We applied it in no time at all - and it looks fabulous. We are delighted - and will be ordering again so that we can cover part of the large windows in the lounge, too. We have a wide but not high window at the top of our stairs. This faces onto our elderly neighbour's similar window, so if one of us forgot to close vertical blinds (now removed), and heading to bedroom from shower/bath etc without remembering to cover up, this could be compromising. Likewise, we could see straight into the neighbour's stair/landing. From the myriad window vinyls on Amazon, tried this Qualsen vinyl, and was pleased to see they offered it in odd size needed for the window, great! I fitted it this morning and it looks really good, in fact it has enhanced what was a bit of a shabby little window. We had the usual vertical blinds option, but have taken these down and it looks fab. It is quite a good thickness/weight of film, and is easy to handle, not prone to flapping/curling back on itself. Plus it's not coated with adhesive, and the glass just gets sprayed with water and you apply the vinyl/trim/squeegee the water out, and it's done. It's been exposed to hot sun on the window all afternoon, and I can see a few tiny spots which are trapped moisture, but just smooth these out. For under a tenner, can't grumble at all, and the roll came with microfibre cloth, a small trimming knife and a little metal rule, amazing! I can't rate just yet on adhesion, as it's not even been a full day, but I've had another check and in the heat of the glass, no curling or detachment at all so far.

Looks very good, private, let's in lots of light which my old blind didn't, very pleased with finished results was a doddle to fit once I had tools ...didn't find ones inside card roll till seller sent message about them after I went shopping for them...no info anywhere on package about them..they don't come out till you unroll all of it, so if you don't know they're there beforehand you're not gonna unroll whole thing for a 3ft piece...but I like it so I forgive you....put some info in box though.

Easy to put up looks pretty and does the job

I am no stranger to window clings but some are much better than others. I have read some of the reviews for this one before purchasing and, in my experience, the customers who had issues simply hadn't applied it correctly. It DOES offer privacy - it is opaque and (applied to a window or door) doesn't offer any view through. It looks see-through on the roll but that's just the nature of the beast and you need to have faith! If you stood right beside it and pressed say your hand against it, you would see that from the other side. Like a white shower curtain, total privacy unless it gets stuck to your butt! :) It DOES stick to glass. I can only imagine those that had trouble hadn't removed the backing film? I did that myself once upon a time and then had a "doh" moment when I realised what I'd done. The "berries" look brown-ish on the roll but are a sort of taupe/cream colour when lit from behind (in the window). I really like this design myself - it looks modern and stylish. Clean your glass, remove the backing film, spray the glass with water and a few drops of washing up liquid, apply film and squeegee out any bubbles - et voila! I have a little tool which cost a couple of £'s and is a little larger than a credit card, with a felt strip to one edge. It's invaluable for this task - as credit cards work but can tear the film (been there, done that). This particular vinyl film feels pretty sturdy and, provided I've put it up properly, it should last a good few years. In my opinion, the only difficulty is cutting a straight line before you apply it and then trimming the excess in a straight line - not my forte but patience is key!

I really liked this design, but very disappointed when it arrived. The leaves look ‘glow-in-the-dark’ green and the branches and berries are beige. Came with tons of tools for putting it on, which was great… just a pity it’s not a white design. Seems a good thickness and quality though.

I have used window films a few time now, but they a plane pattern and for much smaller windows. We bought this for our conservatory roof panes and I had doubts about if the pattern would be OK or even if this would hold on a sloped window after reading some other reviews. However, as soon as I had covered the first two panes, we were really pleased with the look. This film was easier to work with than the previous film I had fitted, not sure if it was the thickness or the type of polymers used, but it seemed to be more resistant to creasing/crumpling. I really like the addition of the soft cloth and the craft knife, which was excellent for the precision cuts saved me a trip out to get new Stanley knife blades. I've held off writing a review, as I wanted to ensure that this would stay up after some extremes of temperature, which it has and there has been no sign of peeling away on the corners or bubbling. Quick tips for anyone not used to working with window films, make sure your windows and the area you are working in are really clean before you start. If you will have a lot of excess, then pre-cut the film so that it is around 5-7cm wider on all edges than you need before you take the backing film off, this will make handling easier. There is a backing film but this can be tricky to start peeling off, but once you have started keep squirting with plenty of water. This will reduce any static and stop any dust, hair etc. being attracted to the film and helps to remove the backing film and the window film to cling to the window.

Ehrlich gesagt habe ich länger überlegt mir die Qualsen Fensterfolie zu bestellen, weil sie auf den Produktbildern so graustichig ausgesehen hat. Die Folie ist in echt definitiv nicht grau sondern weiß. Der Sichtschutz für mein Flurfenster ist gegeben und das Muster sieht hübsch aus. Es kommt auch noch ausreichend Tageslicht in meinen ansonsten dunklen Flur. Im Lieferumfang ist ein kleines Lineal, ein Cuttermesser und ein Mikrofasertuch enthalten. Das anbringen war an und für sich einfach (obwohl das Fenster ohne Leiter nicht zu erreichen ist), ich hatte noch einen Rakel um die Blasen herauszustreichen. Ich bin zufrieden und würde sie mir jederzeit wieder bestellen.

Looks really nice on my front door. I wanted privacy but still needed sunshine in my hall. Good size roll.
