Classic
This was the razor my grandfather had and was thrilled to see it on the website. It's a bit tricky to get used to, go slow and no pressure needed.Brings back memories of watching him shave, thanks Amazon.

Old school
My dad is 93 & refuses to use anything but a single edged blade. This looks exactly like his old razor that gave up the ghost. He’s very happy with it.

Old Style Schick Type Single Edge Razor
This appears to be a "no-name" copy of the no longer made original Schick brand razor. A good quality, exact replacement. Solid plastic and stainless steel construction, just like the original. Gives a nice weight in the hand for feel and control. Like all blade razors, very sharp and prone to cut whith a new blade; will dull through use and begin to pull as the blade reaches the end of its life. Frankly, I use an electric razor for regular shaving, using this razor specifically for trimming sideburns daily, and shaving the back of my neck twice a week. It suits those jobs well.

You Can't Go Home Again
I bought this razor for my husband because he wanted it. Here's what he had to say. "I had a touch of nostalgia and wanted buy a Schick-type single blade razor like I used back in the 1960s. Bad move! This single blade retro razor left my face a bloody mess, as if I'd gone two rounds with Mike Tyson. We had to use those razors back in the day because that was the technology. Today's multi-blade cartridges are far advanced and far superior. You can get a close shave without the cuts, nicks and abrasions of the old style single edge safety razor. I had a brush with nostalgia and learned, as Thomas Wolfe would say, " You can't go home again". However, I'm returning this razor and its blades home again from whence they came.

The best solution for one-blade shaving.
If your old Injector razor has gotten worn out and won't hold blades tight anymore, this brand-new replacement is for you. I didn't try the free blade that came with it, because I have a preferred brand. Replacing blades is fast and easy (as it should be with an Injector), and it gives a smooth close shave. Recommended!

Super close shave
This razor gives a very close shave, but with a lot of irritation, expecially on the chin and upper lip. If you can live with that, or figure out how to protect your face better then I, GO for it. The razor head design looks exactly like the most recent(1960's) Schick razors. After trying this, I bought a used Eversharp-Schick SE on EBay. It is not as harsh, but still need to rest my face for a day in-between shaves. I like that the Shave Classic handle is a bit longer than the Schick I bought. I like the Schick better than the DE razors I have been using.

these blades allow more shaves per blade than the Brett Favre blades but see below
I have a heavy beard. These blades allow me one more shave than the Brett Favre blades, 3 vs 2. All well and good. But, but, with the cheep Chinese steel in these blades vs the German steel in the Brett Favre blades shaving with these blades requires me to shave more carefully and not as smoothly and comfortably as I used to shave with the Brett Favre stronger German steel blades, and I miss this and wish the new blades were made of German steel or go back to the Brett Favre German steel blades !
