Do not use this on white clothing, or it will leave a slightly yellow stain, but the instructions do say to test it first. I would test in on a thick area, where it wont soak through. It's hard to spray evenly, but it might be okay if you transfer it to an even or finer misting bottle. I haven't tried it on other clothing yet, so i can't give it an accurate rating. I only wanted to use it on all my arm sleeves, so I'd have to make sure the color wouldn't contrast with the rest of the shirt, and I don't know how much of the bottle would get used up if you do a whole shirt to make the color even, but I don't think it would be an issue with dark colors and maybe any color but white.

If you follow the the instruction this sun block really works. Be sure to still put on your sun screen for your skin. I have Lupus.I am one who can not bash in the sun.The sun is my enemy so to speak. A forth of a teaspoon full of it and I am wasted or it's bed time I am weak and tried like I have done a lot of hard work. With this in my cloths I don't feel the sting from the Sun or UV ray. I am still running from the Sun so to speak but with a little less fear of damage to my body. I still go out only if I think I need to. I plan to buy more of it and a long dark poncho to cover my whole body.I need to be cool and protected from the Sun / UV ray. I will say it works for me and maybe it will work for you to.

You can get a powder to wash shirts and pants to give themUV protection properties. I used this spray on my outdoorhat.

Bottle states it covers 42 square Feet. I only sprayed 4 cushions and it was gone

Disappointed! I though this was going to be spray and go but no....it needs to be sprayed and activated by heat (either from a blow dryer or iron)...so not so practical really...

While this product does block UV (as I can verify with my UV meter), it makes the cloth permanently sticky.

A good product for that price.
