Furinno Turn-N-Tube 5-Tier Multipurpose Shelf / Display Rack / Storage Shelf / Bookshelf, Square Tubes, Americano/Black

I needed a shelf to organize my partner's things and this 5 tier shelf was perfect! It was very easy to assemble (No tools needed). And although it's lightweight, it is very durable and sturdy. As you can see in the picture...a heavy speaker and a metal safe are on the shelf and it's strong enough to hold them both without any bends.

Not much more needs to be said about this one. I got the 5 tier black shelf and it was really easy to assemble and quick as well. The shelf itself is lightweight, some sort of composite wood wrapped in vinyl I assume, and the legs are plastic. I am using it as a display self for some Lego sets and it is working well for that. It comes with an anchor so you can secure it to a wall as well for added stability.

Like some have mentioned, this isn’t the sturdiest of shelves, however, it serves its purpose fairly well. The black with square pole design is nice, even with the poles being plastic. My only real complaint is the smell of the treated wood. It’s very strong right out the box and can still be smelled after airing it out for a week. Overall I’m pleased with the purchase.

I buy plenty of Furinno pieces because I like to organize like an OCD squirrel and the obsession to have everything orderly can become pricey. I also like simple. So when I bought 2 of these shelving units and opened the package, imagine my surprise at the complication of the build! I had to call in my entire shift of the FD to help me. In order to save you from the 3 business days that it took me to build this, I included some more intricate step-by-step instructions: Step 1: Mentally Prepare. Before beginning, accept one important truth: This is alphabetical chaos. If this makes you uncomfortable, turn back and build a ramp. Step 2: Clear your schedule Resign yourself to the fact that you need total focus. Resist the urge to look for B. There is no B. There has never been a B. Step 3: Screw the tubes into Shelf A Stand back. Admire A. Say, “Nice A.” Step 4: Install the Other Shelf A Repeat all steps above directly above or below Shelf A. Congratulations. You now have: * A * A * A * A * A At this point you may feel something is wrong. It isn’t. Everything is A-Okay Step 5: The Inevitable Mix-Up Sooner or later, someone will say: > “Can you hand me shelf A?” You will respond: > “Top A or bottom A?” They will say: > “No, A.” You will both stare at the shelves. You may briefly question language as a concept. Step 6: Correcting the A/A Confusion If you accidentally place board A meant for board A, follow these steps: 1. Remove item A and put aside. 2. Unturn the tubes and place it carefully onto A. 3. Nod confidently. If someone notices the mistake, explain: > “Ah, that was pre-organizational A. This is post-organizational A.” Maintain eye contact. They never need know the grave mistake you have just made. Step 7: Advanced A Differentiation (Optional) If the chaos becomes unbearable, you may implement subtle distinctions: * Whisper “upper A” under your breath * Think “A Classic” and “A Deluxe” * Rotate one A 180 degrees so it’s spiritually different **Do not** relabel anything. That would introduce B, and we are not prepared for B. Step 8: Final Inspection Ensure: * All shelves are level * All labels clearly read “A” * You can confidently say, “Everything is on A” * Spend the third business day removing "A" stickers that have been secured with the bacterium Caulobacter crescentus. If someone asks where something is, simply reply: > “It’s on A.” You are technically correct. And that’s the best kind of correct. I hope this helps. The complication of this process almost drove me into living in the Amazon box that this arrived in just to avoid ever looking at another shelf. My son's name started with an "A"...I legally changed it after this.

I purchased a five-tier and a three-tier unit in this style from Furinno. The design of the product is great. It looks sleek, it breaks down well for shipping, easy to assemble, and works well for shelving in a living space. The weakness of the product is how non-sturdy the unit is. At the five-tier level, you'll definitely notice a bit of sway under load. The "legs" between each unit are basically hollow plastic. There is no other reinforcement or stability built in beyond this. The product description addresses the load requirements so I'm not going to act like I was surprised. For the price, I feel they should have made the unit stronger somehow. Maybe it's a DIY fix that I just haven't realized yet. It's just a bummer because the look of the product is exactly what I wanted. Due to the low weight capacity, I can basically only set clothing on this.

It’s not super heavyweight but it’s durable with wooden shelves and plastic arms to screw in, which makes it more easy to put together! I bought another since, I absolutely love it.

It is the best shelf for holding my legos, it’s very sturdy and was the best size for what I wanted it for.
