The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo 2019: Live from the Esplanade of Edinburgh Castle

I attended the opening night of the 2019 Tattoo in Edinburgh and although I took may photos and videos, nothing compares to the official record. Watching this brought back many wonderful memories. Even if you weren't there, it's a wonderful show to watch, especially if you aren't familiar with the Tattoo history and tradition.

If you are looking for Scottish music, there is only a little . . . the rest is from other countries.

Stellar performances by the cast of hundreds. The annual Royal Edinburgh Miitary Tattoo has grown to become a local and an international event. A real treat.

I purchase these DVDs each year and because they are not set for UK system only, I take it with me to friends abroad to enjoy a Scottish evening on their TV. There is always a great atmosphere when the pipes and the fiddles play.

A joy as every year. Music, performance, commentary are perfect as always.
