Can i grow this tree indoors until its big wnough to be planded outside? Will having it inside interfere with it loosing its needles in late fall?

This tree is a small sapling. If potted, it needs brought inside during cold and windy winter days or nights for the first 2 years of winter., but can be left outside otherwise. During summer it should be placed in a partial shaded area so it will not get full afternoon sun. Cold wind and summer heat will both be harmful or kill the tree. With a little attention, this is a beautiful, fast growing tree. It will need space when permanently planted. It will get big !! But no, taking care of your tree will not effect its losing its needles. They will turn a golden color, eventually dropping them all.
