Get the real thing.
Never had to run on battery yet. However, the battery never shows full and my control board says there is an issue with the battery. It was a cheaper option but I should have gotten the real battery

Battery fit perfect let it charge for 2 days, then tested it. The battery only last for 30 min. Not worth it!

Good Used Battery at a Very Good Price
I purchased this used, but good battery from Flaknet to replace another that I had previously ordered new. This one works; the "new" one didn't hold a charge. Amazon support told me to return it to them for a full refund and to order the next one through a firm that has good reviews. I ordered through Flaxnet and this is my favorable review of their used battery.I am very happy with this used battery for my Arris cable modem. The modem shows that it has previously been cycled 19 times . After the modem went through its initial battery check (which took perhaps 3 days to charge, discharge, and charge again), the battery now reads that it is holding 88% of its potential. This is enough for 8 hours of telephone time. (This assumes, of course, that power is off in the home, but the cable company still has power on its router.)
