Worth Every Penny
Worth every penny and not disappointed I purchased this fan over the other brands. Nice fan kit with multiple adapter cables for whatever application this fan is used for. I used it for additional cooling on a Electo-Cookie Raspberry Pi 5 enclosure. Very quiet, well built and moves a decent amount of air. Perfect for my application.

Whisper quiet
Perfect addition to my Pi server build. Airflow is really good for the size and you can barely hear it unless you get right next to it. The long wires did need to be trimmed to fit in the case I made but even with all the sheathing they used it wasn't hard at all.

Works in a FLIR DVR
A small, quiet, and powerful fan. Noctua always provides a quality product. I used it to replace a 5v fan in a FLIR DVR for security cameras. The wire adapter was a plus, but I didnt end up needing it. Just make sure you plug it in the correct orientation. The unit runs cool and quiet now. At a similar cost to other fans, the Noctua was a great value for a top quality fan.

One of the nicest fans I've ever used.
This is a great little fan, although the air movement may not be substantial enough for some more demanding applications. I am just using this to replace the super cheap fan that came with my Raspberry Pi case, so it was perfect for me. This fan is extremely quiet to the point where I forget that it's running on my desk two feet away from me; quiet audio or nearby PC fans easily drown it out. Little things like the rubber pads on the corners and a decent type of bearing definitely help keep things quiet as well. It also comes with some vibration-dampening silicon mounting hardware, but my case is too thick to use them properly. In fact, I'm using screws that are too narrow to avoid drilling my case to fit the proper screws, and I haven't had any vibration issues yet. While it's much more quiet than the fan I replaced, it does move a bit less air. I don't have actual air movement specs for the old fan, but it spun over 5000 RPM, so it makes sense that it would move more air. Once plugged in, the old fan was able to propel itself across my desk until it's wires were taut or it fell over. The A-Series isn't quite the show-off in that regard, but it still cools off my Pi very nicely. My idle temp with the old fan was 38-41 degrees, and now it's 40-43. Mind you, my system is overclocked to 1.4ghz, and idle temps would hit 60 degrees without a fan. Everything is still nice and cool, so I'll gladly take the silence in exchange for running slightly warmer. This fan comes with a lot of great extra hardware and adapters. That said, I wish it came with an adapter for the Raspberry Pi, considering how many other people seem to be using this fan for this application. Like other reviewers, I needed to make a minor modification; I had to carefully cut away some of the tape, unpin the connector, snip the yellow cable, re-tape the wires, and re-pin the connector to match the GPIO pins on the Pi. It only took about five minutes and required some basic tools, but it certainly voids any warranty or chance for a return/exchange. If I could get nit-picky, it also doesn't have the most flexible wiring unless you strip all of the wrapping, but it's still quite workable.

Works Great with Raspberry Pi in iUniker Case
I originally had a Canakit case for my Raspberry Pi 4 Model B 4GB with the Canakit 30mm Fan. I wanted to mess around and overclocked the RPi from its base 1.5GHz to 2GHz but in order to do so I needed the max overvoltage applied which was level 6 which adds 0.15V I believe to the SoC. When testing the CPU under load using sysbench the 30mm fan would need to be at 5V and would be loud and nearly reach 80C which is near throttling temperature for the CPU. at 3.3V I couldn't hear the fan but it would throttle. I decided to buy the iUniker case here on Amazon which includes a 40mm fan. The 40mm fan is definitely better than the 30mm however it was still loud and throttling if I used the 3.3V plug in order to keep the fan silent. I already loved Noctua for the heatsink and fans in my desktop so decided to buy their 5V 40x10mm fan. I have no regrets. First I just love the Noctua aesthetic. It stands out. But secondly performance is what really matters here. On the 5V pinout under sysbench the fan keeps the CPU at 70*C. However it is very loud presumably because it is significantly higher RPM than the other two fans I tested. It is a quiet fan, but once the fan is cycling against the mesh of the iUniker case the fan becomes noisy. However, on the 3.3V pinout the fan is dead silent. And even better, the temperature under sysbench maxes out at 75*C well under the throttling point. I'm currently using the scotchlocks and 2pin adapter to connect to the connectors I cutoff from the 30mm Canakit fan. I'll probably try making the wires shorter and soldering them directly to the wires with the connectors so that I can keep the assembly completely within the case. If I mess that up though, I'll happily purchase this fan all over again!

Nice quality, quiet, and long-lasting 5V fan
Came with a nice set of connections to connect fan and further dampen noise. I wired this in to my old N64 console, that was having some high heat issues, and it quietly keeps everything nice and cool. I really like it and I am pleased with the airflow volume. Perfect for my needs.

Worked in my Superstation One with some creative mounting
Works great. I mounted it in my Superstation One, which has 45mm holes, but I looped some copper wires through the fan holes and heat sink holes, then twisted to secure. Silent as can be, no vibration noise thanks to the rubber dampeners built in. Fan includes 3 pin to 2 pin adapter cable, and a 3 pin M to F extension cable if you need it.

Eficiencia y bajo ruido.
Excelente ventilador, tenía un controlador sas que llegaba a 80 grados y con este ventilador muy bien equipado ahora está en 30 sin llegar al 100% de revoluciones y sin ruido.

Expensive, but worth the money if you value silence, and all the extras you could possibly need.
I replaced the elderly and noisy fan in my NAS with the Noctura. When I powered up the NAS there was no sound. Upon checking, I found the blades spinning without any detectable sound. The fan also came with a good selection of cables, adaptors and fittings. Well worth the price.
