My Son loves learning ABCs and Colors and Shapes with these colorful board books
I’m happy to find books with my son’s favorite characters Alphabet Al and Trollie Triangle from the Rock ‘N Learn videos. I don’t like for him to watch TV right before nap or bedtime, so the books are perfect. He loves looking at the pictures, flipping through the pages just before falling asleep. Not your typical board books, these are packed full of content. The pages are made of a heavy material and can hold up against my son's wear and tear. If we are running short on time, I let him pick just a few pages or activities. The Colors, Shapes & Counting book is really good for skipping around. Sometimes my son likes to “pretend read” the words on the first few pages. Other times he skips this for the games. “What color is it?” is one of his favorite activity pages, and I love how it gives him practice with “small, medium, and large” as well as colors and shapes. The back of the book includes advanced colors and shapes and counting to 20. As for Alphabet Al’s ABC Book, my son likes for me to read the rhyme for each letter or let him point and name the pictures and letters. These books help him learn new vocabulary and lots more. They’re so colorful and fun! These are now some of my son's favorite books.

The main reason I purchased Alphabet AL's ABGC book was for the ABC content which was quite nice. My grandbaby was 19 months old at the time of my purchase. She is now 20 months and able to repeat her ABC's and 123's. A child learns the most between birth and one year because they know the least. It's critical to continue the learning process for that child. Grandma buys any and all books related to ABC's and 123's mainly for the constant exposure to these very important educational tools. The more a baby/young toddler views these items, the more the baby/toddler retains their sequence. It is vastly important for the parent, older sibling, or family member to spend time with the baby/toddler reading these books.

Wish I'd found this sooner!
I purchased this book as a Christmas gift for my 1 & 3 year olds. I love it! The 3 year old knows his ABCs and has a very extensive vocabulary, but there are still a lot of words and associated pictures in it that catch his attention. I especially loved how the author uses words that not only start with, but end in X, to help children identify its sound.

Great alphabet book.
We got this for my son when he was 2 he is 4 and still likes it. It's a really good alphabet book, one of the best we've come across. It's less of a story tho. But all the rhyming and the pictures are neat. I'd buy it again.

Great ABC book!
Awesome book! We love that several words are shown on each page for each letter. Many books only show one, example "A for Apple". This book will show about 6 words that start with A and also has a little four sentence poem at the bottom of each page including those words. 2 year old loves this book. We do too.
