Q: Do the refills stay wet once you have opened the packet or do they dry out over time?

The refill packs I have used have always remained moist even after opening. I have not left the opened refill pack for more than 3 weeks before using next wipe but there seems to be plenty of moisture available within the pack.

Q: Any opinions on whether the speedmop, with wipes including cleaner, or power mop with cleaner sprayed from mop then dried with pads, are better?

Not sure I totally understand your question but my sister has both and votes for the speed mop every time for cleaner floors. Hence I bought the Speedmop and I totally love it. It dries quickly as you clean your floor with no need for extra drying. Lovely fresh smell too. Takes minutes to clean a floor and you won’t believe how clean it is. Nice sheen too. Obviously better with regular use but so easy it’s not a chore. We have bought the speedmop for our children and other family we like it so much. My advice - buy the speed mop and enjoy hassle free cleaning. Good luck!!

Q: how much will the floor wipes be and where would i get them

The wipes are about £3:50 to £4 a tub, Wilko do them, sainsburys did, but were more expensive. Asda probably . The only thing I'm unsure of as I didn't think when I bought my mop, is I can't find out if the are biodegradable ,

Really? Who is going to bother sending the used wipes to the 'innovative recycling' company. Hardly anyone, is my guess. Most wipes will add to the fatberg. Shame.
