Moleskine Classic Notebook, Hard Cover, XXL (8.5" x 11") Plain/Blank, Black, 192 Pages

I've been using this notebook on repeat for over 10 years. The pages are thin and will tear if wet, you can't write on both sides of the paper if you're using ink, which I tend to do, or have a heavy hand as the pages are thin enough it will indent and bleed through. Having said that, I use mine as a bullet journal/sketchbook/mixed media amalgamation so there's lots of taping bits or gluing scraps on the backs of pages that would otherwise be unusable so I just use every other one if I plan to do a large ink entry. Graphite and colored pencil translate lovely onto the pages, they're smooth with no tooth to the paper. I tend to use microns, though as I mentioned they will bleed through. Hope this helps.

These are the best notebooks for anyone on the go!

I really like Moleskine notebooks anyway so I was familiar with the quality and how thin the paper is. I actually purposely ordered this because of the paper being so thin as I intend for it to be an Adventure Book for my kid; I wanted sheets thin enough to be able to do leaf tracings with the leaf under the paper and coloring over top with a crayon. Other sketchbooks have paper too thick to do that with and keep the details. This is the largest Moleskine notebook I’ve ever bought but the quality is definitely there and I’m happy with my purchase.

Would have been 5 stars except the first “section” of the notebook fell out. I was not excessively rough on these pages however it seems the binding frayed nonetheless. Great sturdiness, page size was refreshing and it is in most ways, perfect! Was very disappointed to lose those pages, however.

I haven't had the chance to use it yet but the quality of sketchbook is there with the rest of my sketchbooks. I can't wait to use it!

I love this journal, I've been bullet journaling for about 3 years now and I usually get the A5 size but I really wanted a full notebook size and I could not find a hard cover. I found this and thought I'd give it a try I kind of like graph paper. I ended up loving it 100% would purchase again. The pages are a little thin but most of my markers don't bleed through.

I have used Moleskin XL notebooks for over 15 years, primarily for the difference in the weight and quality of the paper in the XL size - it is usually three times thicker with a no bleed quality for ink/gel pens. This book is NOT the original version or paper. Not sure if Moleskin changed the paper in the XL notebooks, but I was deeply disappointed that I could not use any of my art ink/gels pens (bleeds through to the other side due to the thinness). If you are using regular rollerball or dry inked pens, you will be pleased with the quality - Moleskins are quality notebooks, but this a NO GO for wet inks!

The pages are very thin, you can see your writing on the other side. This was my first time buying Moleskin and I'm pretty disappointed. The price is too high for such flimsy paper! I suppose the cover is alright, but there are many more appropriately priced notebooks out there with higher quality paper

Moleskine notebook was exactly as expected. Bought as a stocking stuffer for my husband who loves them for notetaking. It’s a good quality notebook, though I find the price tag a little crazy. Prices on Amazon are comparable to prices in store where I live.

This was a gift so I am unable to answer how it preforms. However, the unopened product was what I purchased and was hoping to receive.

Favourite line of notebooks and planners. I will never buy anything else. My own glides beautifully along the paper and the spine never gets in the way of me writing in it( even with a hardcover. I recommend this brand to everyone!
