Great pick over cuisinart!
I received my Gourmia GTF7600 yesterday and I'm so happy I picked this model over Cuisinart. The tipping point in favor of this product was the stainless steel basket and trays which wasn't an option with the cuisinart. In 24 hours I made toast, cheese toast / open face grilled cheese with tomatoes, zucchini fries and top sirloin and everything turned out perfect! This product is easy to clean, the inside wiped perfectly clean, the basket easy to clean and I just fit the drip pan with aluminum so no cleaning. Product is easy to understand and use. I'm very happy. The knob got warm/hot but I could touch it with no problem. A tiny amount of sticky residue was left on door from tape, I didn't remove it till later with oil because I honestly didn't notice it when product is on the counter. Size wise it's perfect, I didn't want something to small but I couldn't get an idea how much I could cook with any of the air fryer/convection ovens. I was able to air fry 2 zucchinis perfectly with some extra room left, a smaller size basket doesn't seem like it would be worth having. The Gourmia size is perfect. I have to admit you could feed 2 adults and 2 small children with this easily. I will be using the gourmia just for me and I like the size,t I like to cook more than 1 meal at a time so I have food tomorrow or the next day. I will use this all the time. I don't enjoy wasting time cooking so I don't turn my oven on much but I will be making more food at home now, my food tastes great, cooks fast and it's just easy now. I will use this for everything.

Excellent! Buy it!!
Not compensated for this review. This oven is very well built. Excellent value for the money. Due consideration to materials. Stainless Steel with Awesome Looks. Simple and clear controls. ON/OFF clearly visible. Large. Excellent results in all modes. Clearly visible window for the status. High Power. Perfect Size. Perfect accessories. it is typical to have a manufacturing residues on high quality steel due to manufacturing processes. Clean with warm wet towel ins/and outs. Run for 30 mins super hot and let the air go out. No smell after that. Two suggestions for improvements: (1) The door hinge could be a better so that it still stays strong toward the end of the door swing. Regardless, non-critical to performance. (2) The security tape for shipping could be better so that no residue is left when pulled away. Again, this is non-critical to performance.

Great replacement for multiple appliances
I had a small 3qt air fryer that I loved but it just didn't make enough for more than 1 or 2 people. I also had a convection toaster oven and regular 4 slice toaster (because the toaster over took way too long to unevenly toast bread) on my counter, so it's great to have a single appliance that replaced all of those. Overall I'm pleased with this appliance, but it's not perfect. Pros: Cooks evenly and quickly, especially when reheating. Cooks a full 12 inch pizza. Spacious interior. Good looking unit. No power switch like other air fryers, so you have to unplug it to turn off the screen. The dial knob got pretty hot the first few times I used it, but that seems to have settled down. Cons: I don't think this gets gets things as crispy as my smaller old unit when doing air fry. Selecting modes in the middle of the LED screen is a little tedious because the selector doesn't seem to actually move with each click (this applies to changing the temperature too). The shelf spacing is just a little too close together. It takes a lot longer to pre-heat to 400 than my older unit. A couple of comments about previous reviews. I didn't notice the strong smell during the first use like I did with my previous air fryer (which is normal). There was a little bit of a plastic smell, but it went away quickly. As far as the fan coming on afterwards, it appears to do this every time you finish a cooking cycle, maybe to cool off the electronics? Regardless I don't understand the complaints about it "catching fire". Why people are leaving their unit plugged in when they're not using it is beyond me in the first place. That's just a bad idea in general with any appliance that gets hot. Plus that bright blue screen is kinda obnoxious when it's not in cooking mode.

Perfect
First unit i got was defective. I sent it back and had a new one. Replaced in 2 days. I air fried chicken and i also toasted my bagels and it was perfect. Cook times for certain things will be longer than others. Chicken thighs at 400 degrees cooked for 25 minutes and then flipped them over and cooked the bottom for about 8 more minutes and it came out perfect. Settings are easy to use. And im loving it so far. Cant wait to use it agian I feel like a kid playing with a toy. Im just putting everything in the air fryer Update 2-16-24 so far so good. Still working and holding up strong. I dont use it as much as i wish i could as i am working 7x12s and hardly home. But when i am able it still works great. Recommend for the decent price range with no plastic parts.

Cheap quality and a fatal flaw!
I am coming from a Breville toaster oven that lasted me close to 10 years (non air fry as those oven / air fryer combo options were not available back in the day). Once my trusty Breville broke down for good, I tried the Cuisinart Digital Air Fryer Oven. It was sleek, and seemingly well made, but ultimately returned it because the actual temperatures were way higher than the stated temperatures (i.e., as stated on the digital display). Food was regularly burned. I was getting tired of constantly reducing the temperature (using my best "guesstimate") to avoid burned food. Enter the Gourmia. Initial impression (from a pure aesthetic perspective) is that it's also sleek (a bit similar in looks to the Cuisinart digital). However, upon handling the oven itself (opening the door, pulling out the crumb tray, etc) it was obvious that this is a fairly cheaply made oven. The components did not operate smoothly (crumb tray does not smoothly come out, the door is a tad flimsy) - this was obvious having just come from Breville and Cuisinart. The air fryer function itself is decent (I would put it above the Cuisinart in this regard), but there were a few things that ultimately made me return this: 1. The above-mentioned cheap-feeling quality. 2. A fatal flaw in that the selector knob got extremely hot to the touch after the air fryer was on for a few minutes (I had air fried chicken for 10 minutes at 375F - I could not touch the selector knob with my bare hands after those 10 minutes). 3. The blue light in the background of the display is *constantly* on. It's a little freaky at night, when all other lights are turned off, only to have this fairly bright blue light come at you (I had to pull the plug from the outlet to turn it off completely). 4. Minor point: there is no built-in clock on the display (I thought most toaster ovens / air fryer combos had that, but that might have been my wishful thinking). I am most likely going to get the Breville Smart Oven Air - *huge* price difference compared to the Gourmia, and a big dent in the wallet, but I think my kids don't really need a college fund, do they?

Wow, what a surprise. Blown away!
I am rating this product for doing what it was intended to do, which is cooking food. I only had the product for a short time, but I wasted no time in putting it to use. I wanted to see how well it work in all its functions, especially the air fryer. Going in doubting I would enjoy the quality of the food 100%, I have to say I was proven wrong. Unit heated up quickly to temp, cooked evenly and thoroughly. Air fryer was the biggest surprise, crisp well cook fry food with no grease. Looks great, no set up required. Unlike other comments door tape was not a problem. Door handle does hit counter, but so did my past 2 toaster ovens. 100% great product and 100% would recommend.

Not satisfied!
Looks great in stainless steel, a fan intake at top eliminates hot air release to top of your cabinets. Although, it was larger than desired on the height, looks overpowering on countertop, but looks okay under corner cabinet area.. Guidebook: I read completely and it is not clear on the crumb tray. Agree with one other personal review, that a tray needs to be above coils to help in cleaning. Fan at top would be very difficult to clean, especially after cooking a roast. Needs improvement! Based on my experience, but does not mean other units have the same problem: my toast was golden brown, very good, but...... after the meal, the unit still shows the light, blinking, the fan continues on and off. I can not find an option to turn the unit - completely off? I noticed a smell of overheated coils, opening the door there is a foggy look and immediately unplugged the unit. Yes, the unit was cleaned before using as instructed! I plugged back in, after a couple of hours to check further... the light comes back on, blinking, and fan starts to go on and off. It needs an off option!! This one was - Defective. off and on sound, smell of overheating... even after the unit was unplugged, plugged back after hours waiting, making sure it was cooled.
