Hartwood Villanelle 12 String Dreadnought Cutaway Electro Acoustic

In my opinion for under £200 this guitar is exceptional value.Really easy and comfortable to play for a 12 string guitar, and it sounds beautiful. No faffing around with multi-band eq settings either as the Fishman Preamp makes it simple to just get on and play. Having an accurate on-board tuner it's much less of a chore to tune too.Played clean through a Roland Cube Street amp it's no less impressive sounding. With a little added chorus and reverb it sounds inspiringly full and rich. Connected to a stereo channel on a small p.a. sytem, via a stereo multi effects pedal, it sounds absolutely stunning both clean and with added effects (especially with a stereo chorus).I have an EKO 12 string acoustic (not electro), and admittedly it probably needs setting up, but the Hartwood, although acoustically played is not quite as rich at the low end, it's so much easier and a pleasure to play in comparison.My one and only disappointment is it would have been great if both a full bodied and a cut-away version were available, as I would have preferred a full bodied guitar. That said, I would still thoroughly recommend this guitar.
