I live in the deserts of AZ and when it gets cold enough to freeze, it usually does it quick and I have to wrap all of my out door pipes, which is a lot when you own 10 acres. These are so easy to use. All I have to do is slide it over the top and pull the drawstring and it is done. I was a little leery, since I have always really wrapped the pipes, but made it through this last winter with zero pipe breaks. Most of my outdoor pipes are plastic risers and they break if it freezes so this was great.

We live in the desert, where the extreme sun and heat wears down any material.Therefore, exposed pipes are best covered - it is less expensive to replace a cover than it is to replace a pipe!The cover fits well, we use a zip tie to close it on the bottom and keep in place.This is our second one in 2 years, the material disintegrates on the outside even when undisturbed.Another brand we purchased in a different format has lasted 4 years, but at under $20 this was a good deal.

This looks like a great product it just was too big for what I needed it for. Great quality.

Feels high quality and thick - which is good against the heavy rain I often get.Basically in September I turn my sprinklers off until next March or April. When I turned them off I put this cover on and leave it so I don't have to think about it - it's also my reminder when I walk by that my sprinklers are off. Once I'm ready to turn them on in the spring it'll come off and go back in the garage.One year a freeze made my sprinkler pipe exploded (wasn't covered). Hasn't occurred again - so it does the job I need.
