More expensive than knock off however part is bad design to begin with and not using original equipment most likley to fail . Part should have metal reinforcement for hood stops . This is quality product matches perfect . Flaws are wit John Deere design engineers .

Fit Well, Speedy Shipment, but Lacking Assembly Instructions
So, I admit it. I *gently* bumped my 13-year-old John Deere LT 160 into a tree stump and ... the bumper cracked. When I lifted the hood laster on, the whole unit came undone and crashing down onto the garage floor. Luckily, this replacement bumper is all that I needed to put everything back together. Shipment by Amazon marketplace vendor "jdeverythingjd" was extraordinarily fast. And, it fit perfectly with the other parts of the original hood and the metal chassis.My rating includes the deduction of one star because it did not come with any assembly instructions. Mechanically-challenged people like me need them.As others have noted, there are a few ways to go wrong with the installation ( ... thanks to those of you here who have cautioned us to NOT over-tighten the various screws ...). Luckily, and despite my mechanical ineptitude, I believe I figured it out and nothing has come falling off ... at least not yet.
