ASUS ROG Phone 2 Lighting Armor Case (ZS660KL)

I like the design and it protects my phone from wet surfaces. It just lacks side bumpers. Overall, it's a good product with a newer theme and added some glass inside the case to illuminate the ROG logo lighting effects. Awesome.

I reordered this from B&H for 20$ less than this product. This case is makes the phone about 75% thicker and adds some weight. The case has certain contact points on the back and the rest is away from the phone for airflow. You can point a fan at the back of the phone to cool the back down.This case comes the an exclusive theme called "The force". The phone communicates with the case via NFC to know it is attached and uses the second LED to provide RGB light. Due to the thickness you can't use accessories, but you can still charge the phone in landscape mode, they blocked access to the orange accessory connector in case you can't tell that the phone is thick and you try to connect an accessory. The sides of the phone are exposed, you could damage the side of the phone if dropped. The flashlight is narrow due to the case going around the LED. The camera remains unobstructed, but it does catch lint from my pocket, so I clean the phone often.Honestly, the case is well thought out and it's overkill, but this isn't worth purchasing unless you want factory accessories, RGB, or the exclusive theme and sounds. The stock aeroactive case works well. My phone survived a fall from 6 FT to the asphalt, that's impressive! It also survived being dropped onto tile, the phone is really slippery with dry hands.
