Pella Roto Operator Right Hand (1967-1993)

Fit like a glove, easy to install...so glad I found this part.

Ridiculously expensive for what it is.Worked for me on 1991 vintage Pellla windows although the front-most anchor tabs were not the same as the original. The crank base physically fit in the space but required drilling two new holes.Came in only a clear plastic bag; no instructions. It did come with new mounting hardware: 4 screws for the crank/sill plate piece and 3 screws for the arm that attaches to the window.Operation is pretty rough but I don’t know how much of that is a function of 27 year old windows and how much is related the fit and finish of this mechanism.Tip: clean and lubricate the hinge arm track and sliders while you’re doing this install but don’t use petroleum-based lubricants. Per Pella, use only silicone spray as petroleum-based lube will cause the plastic slider to swell and bind.

The part I purchased was indicated to be new but was really new. It was bent. We made it work. I paid $185 for this part when I could have probably paid $85 for a new one from Pella.
