Day Trading Micro Futures for Income: The Beginner’s Gateway to Trading for a Living

I started training to become a day trader in December 2022. I read several books and joined a couple of the premier day trading sites and spent a decent amount of coin to do this. While they both offer plenty of training and have live chatrooms, it was a little overwhelming to me as I still work from home in my primary career. I found out about Don after reading an entry in a Reddit Day Trading forum. There are some people that come into your life that end up changing it for the better. I truly believe Don is one of these people and I thank God that I found him and his style of trading. This book is very easy to read and understand. The videos on his YouTube channel (150+) are an excellent source of training and the best thing is they're free. I'd say they average about 10-15 minutes each. Don is a teacher, plain and simple. I spent the price of a large pizza on this book, watched most of his videos and started my live day trading career today. No $25k day trading rule to follow is the best part of trading the Micro E-Mini's in my opinion. You can get started with just a couple of thousand dollars (maybe even less). No watching stock tickers and spending money every month just to be able to day trade. No Trade Idea's scanner or DAS Pro monthly charges are needed to trade the Micro E-Mini's. I've spent a total of $20 to learn what Don teaches and to have the confidence to trade effectively. I do recommend trading in a practice simulator before attempting any live trading. This is a must and Don explains this in his book and videos. Thank you Don for finding a way to day trade without having to make a huge investment or having to look at multiple tickers everyday. I like simple and this trading style is simple. I didn't say it was easy, just simple :)

This is not a get rich quick book, nor a complex financial text of market theory. Simple, clear language on how to BEGIN to day trade. Don offers ways to advance the skills he teaches through logging and planning. This book is as straightforward as his YouTube channel, which is a great supplementary resource for the book. He will walk you through the processes described in the book. Using these concepts, i have had 4 successful practice trades, and am getting more confident in my ability to understand what the market is telling me.

I found this book to be insightful, but simple. Simplicity is what most newbie traders lack or ignore. This has given me the courage to try again. After a previous failed attempt at trading, this has given me the spark to try again!

Good way to get introduced and use this as part of the foundation. I'm still paper trading, but this is a good way to start and build your set of rules. Everyone's style is different, but this should be factored in. Good luck, Traders!

I have watched tons of videos and read a few books on day trading and this one explains it the best. The author has a great approach and he makes it easily understandable.

This book was just ok. It doesn't tell you anything his first 2 videos doesn't tell you. He basically says to use MACD and practice a lot. I was hoping for more or explaining things in depth. I think this book may help the very beginner who has never heard of MACD. I have never traded futures before but already knew almost all of the information covered in this book. I did try to contact the author about a question I had related to his strategy that he did not address in the book. I don't think he even read my question but replied back with a rather snarky reply and included links to a bunch of his other videos and affiliate links. It did not address the question, and I feel like he is just a salesman and may make most of his money from selling products over trading. It did not affect my review for this book. I would have given it a 3 star regardless of the interaction.

Excellent beginners guide and introduction to Micro Futures, can be traded any time markets open 24/7 minus weekends and daily breaks of course. I work night shifts and can trade these when stock. ARKit is closed while everyone is sleeping. A quick way for a beginner to get started without all the fluff and details that bog down beginners when they get started. So much information out there that will confuse beginners for years without mentors. Don’s YouTube FREE videos are excellent addition to get started and just practicing using the MACD will help you go make a daily supplement and the position sizing could turn into a great business side biz. The psychology is the most important aspect of what he teaches and shows on his live YouTube trades. I tried it first time on my Live price demo account on micro Russell’s and accidentally made $9.50 on one contract. In 1 minute. It was like, couldn’t be that simple. He has made it super easy to get started without a lot of time studying like most other courses where you need to be an expert before making money consistently (Disclaimer, I do have experience trading futures but failed past losses on regular futures was too much risk and had to stop and buy tons of courses and wasted time and headaches was not worth it.) trading micros is easier on the psychology and bank account when starting out and learning how to follow price action using the most popular indicator MACD. Thanks Mr. Singletary for showing us an opportunity to create extra income with controlled risk.

Ein 100-Seiten-Buch in dem der Autor Kapitel für Kapitel, Satz für Satz, ja Wort für Wort auf den Punkt kommt. Der Inhalt führt genau dahin, wo der Trader hin will: Zum Eigentlichen. Befolgt in allen Schritten steht nur noch der Ausführende, der Mensch zwischen Tätigkeit und Profiten. Ich bin sicher, dass bei Aufbringen von ZEIT und GEDULD im Zusammenhang mit den Anweisungen des Autor nahezu Jedermann Erfolg haben wird! Hans
