One of my very first purchases :)I got this for semi formal occasions such as interviews, church, and to add to student wardrobe. Sometimes I wear it without the bow-tie to tone it down. Overall satisfied with this order though it didn’t fit as expected a bit too loose for a small, but I think the extra poofs add character. I get comments that I look like a manga character or an academia studentPros:• unique; there are buttons but they’re hidden• neat and doll-like• blends in broad daylight background (this may be a con for a few)• light texture for the sleeves• did not get too hot around the armpitsCon:• slightly see-through so if you were to be in rainy weather it’d be noticeable• a little hassle to align the bow-tie with the collar; it slides if I were to slightly raise my arms, but still very cute touch to the look

I would say that if I had bought this shirt in my normal size, it would have been too small- I ordered a full 2 sizes up based on the manufacturers measurements and it fits fine. I purchased the largest size available (XXL) simply because I have VERY broad shoulders (17" across shoulders, 40" bust, 34" waist), so of course this means the sleeves are baggy on me, but I think that's kind of cute and also gives me a bit more shoulder space- the short sleeved would not have worked for me for this reason. The shirt is a bit sheer, as chiffon usually is, so you'll want to wear some type of undershirt- either white or to match your skin tone. Make sure you're buying from the maker, Etosell, and not a knock-off. Theirs is over all pretty high quality and nice looking, even the neck ribbon/bow. The fabric is breathable, lightweight, and comfortable, nice to wear even in the hot summer.

I like this shirt a lot. It is as described and is made of a polyester that seems nicer to me than chiffon. The cut is good and it fit well everywhere except the sleeves and torso, which are about two inches too short for me. There are some loose threads but the quality seems decent. I would be tempted to keep this if I didn't already own a similar shirt made out of cotton (though the sleeves for that one are even shorter--the problem I was hoping to remedy with this shirt). I am 5'7" and my measurements are roughly 36-32-39 with an ideal sleeve length of 24-25", and I ordered the largest size, XL.

Just to preface, this shirt is adorable and is exactly what I wanted it to be. It arrived in just over three weeks.I figured buying an Asian small, it would fit quite well. It’s a little bit big for my taste. Sort of wide in the waist. I tuck my shirts into skirts most times so this is okay. I’m 5’3” and 105lbs. I have a 25-26” waist and a 31” bust.There were a lot of loose threads to snip off that made it look disappointing out of the package but once I got it washed, and tumbled the wrinkles out, clipped the threads, and got it tucked, this is truly lovely. I forgot to take photos before I made it presentable but my pictures should show you the potential it has if you don’t let its initial appearance get you down.

First of all, this isn't 100% polyester (shown in pic.) Theres no issue with the fabric in question, just whether or not it's a fabric that you'd personally prefer.Polyester is a man made synthetic fabric that has uses in keeping an affordable, nice, wrinkle free appearance for your clothes as it also doesn't shrink in the wash. It is also water resistant but not waterproof.Polyester can irritate and not feel so good against the skin. It's also prone to static electricity since it does not absorb moisture and melts under heat (do not wear this when working in the kitchen or anything else that has more heat).Cotton is somewhat the opposite with softer more comfortable feeling fabric and nice against the skin, it's less prone to static electricity (so hardly any flying hairs that stick up) but is better for warmer weather as it can absorb moisture. Cotton can trap heat and keep you warmer, but don't get it wet because it will also hold that in and make you cold.Blending both cotton and polyester will give you the best of both worlds with lots of flexibility, durability, and ease with washing and keeping clean. Cotton Poly blends are very common for comfort, affordability and long lasting clothing. However, seeing as there's more poly in the blend, this brings me to my first issue with the shirt.Right when I took this out of the bag, there was static electricity. A lot of it. It's been very humid where I live lately so it's unavoidable with a shirt that has more poly than cotton.It's also very sheer and see through, also feels harder to stay warm in. Def layer up if you're planning on buying and keeping this. Use a white tank top or something comfortable under it as poly can irritate your skin. It's not very slim fitting and the cut kinda looks awkward on me.There's only 5% spandex so there's slight stretch to it, but it's not that noticeable.The appearance that the shirt gives definitely delivers! The bowtie is cute and I got the knot right on the second try. I am unsure on whether I'll return this or not because it's a very cute shirt, but also way too thin for my liking. Might have to buy and compare it with another shirt that has a bit more cotton in it. Aim for 55/45 at least. I definitely would want to keep the ribbon for the bowtie at the very least since it brings the look together. If anything I might return the short sleeved one I got and get a longer sleeved shirt instead since it's so light.

For nine dollars this is an amazing deal! It's very comfortable, the material is a little sheer so you will need a camisole or something underneath it but it's not noticeable. It doesn't come with a pre knotted bow, just a long black ribbon, but this does allow for more freedom in how you wear it. I've gotten many compliments from just wearing this with my black skirt and it looks great. I ordered a medium as I usually fit in a small to medium shirt. I was worried maybe I hadn't accounted for the difference in sizing enough but it fits great. I would really recommend this for the price (I might even buy another with how much I've already worn this one!)
