Very low quality metal, Broken while cutting 2-3 inches wood peace.

Did not come with a secondary bevel. Primary bevel was also way too thick, more suitable for a 3kg splitting mau head than an axe with a 0.6kg head.Took me more than 4 hours with a file, then double sided hone to get a decent edge (metal was soft barely heat treated but had to remove a large amount and had to keep edge robust to prevent rolling).Tested on seasoned soft wood and lost the edge in less than 30 minutes of use with no lateral twisting.I've honestly rarely seen a tool this poor in heat treat.

The handle is comfortable the whole axe is sturdy ... but the edge is bit blunt ... I do go out for camping and I took my axe with me.. it worked pretty well cutting soft wood and green tree branches ... but performed horribly when i had to split hard seasoned wood logs... so a tip for people buying this product carry a small saw instead for camping .. or use a grinder to sharpen the blade...the weight is enough for your camping purposes and gardening... overall a good productUsage update - I ordered it in 2019 and just yesterday on the last day of my camping trip .. the beard of the axe broke.. we could clearly see the quality of metal used was really poor .. I am changing my review to 1 or no stars .. it worked pretty well with soft wood but always failed miserably when to cut hard or seasoned wood .. yesterday I was cutting a seasoned wood for fire and the axe head broke and the quality of steel was like pig iron.. I won't suggest this axe to anyone .. rather buy something from local metal worker

The finishing on the product is not up to standard. There were lots of imperfections so I removed the handle and grinded it smooth. I bought this axe so that I could etch some designs on it but when I tried it it does not work on this metal which leads me to think this is not tool steel. The pictures I have uploaded show the hatchet after I tried etching and the other picture shows a normal axe I etched using same method. Bottom line is if you want this axe for etching, this metal will not work.

Durable product has got a firm grip with a decently sharp edge..Light and perfect..

Axe is very blunt and therefore takes too much time to cut/chop a tree branch. I thought it would be very sharp and thereby help me to remove some of the unwanted tree branches in my garden, but it failed miserably.

It’s not metal you can judge by photos. I was be fooled don’t let yourself get the same treatment. This axe was not sharp neither was of metal kinda made of breakable material STAY AWAY ...
