Simple install. Works great!
I have a 2014 Victory Cross Country. The module comes with instructions, but you can find an old video online that shows the install of this kit before it was made plug and play. If you skip the step of cutting wires in the video & use the supplied Plug & play wire the install is simple. Probably took me 30min start to finish. I set the transponder to auto detect & don't even need to touch my key or keychain. So simple and convenient. purchased a 3" metal punisher skull to cover the hole on my witchdoctor cheese wedge where the ignition use to be & it looks great.

Wonderful Peace of Mind
Plug & play installation with easy to follow instructions. With the fob in your pocket you can walk away knowing your ignition AND fuel circuits are disabled. Programmable code to override unit should you lose your fob. This setup is the best investment you'll ever make. Totally silent which is wonderful; no flashing lights, beeping alarm or other BS to make you look like a doof when it arms at your favorite destination. Highly recommended.

Installation adventure on a 2015 Victory Vision Tour
I recently purchased a 2015 Victory Vision Tour and was missing the "walk up and go" capability of my previous bike a Harley-Davidson Road King FLHRSE4. Harley's come with a keyless security fob that works in a similar way to the DGD-KIM-V2 module that I installed in my Victory Vision. The installation of the Digital Guard Dog DGD-KIM-V2 is straight forward and mostly plug and play with the exception of the ground cord and optional accessory switch. The installation of the Digital Guard Dog DGD-KIM-V2 is straight forward and mostly plug and play with the exception of the ground cord and optional accessory switch. I called this installation an "adventure" because as a new Victory Vision owner I had no idea where the connector for the "Right-Hand control harness" was located, as a result I disassembled the farring and both left and right side panels to hunt for this connector. As suggested in the installation manual I went on a hunt for this connector thinking that I may be located near the headlight assembly. Hopefully, my adventure becomes useful information for other Vision owners. The connector is located under the center console plate over the key switch. Once the console is removed, look at the handlebar assembly and there is a cluster of connectors just forward of the bar. The Right-Hand control harness is located in that cluster of connectors. Remove the instrument panel bezel by pulling on it straight towards you as it is mounted with clips. You may have to gently pry on an edge to get it started with a small screwdriver or putty knife. Be careful as to not mar the plastic when prying. Once removed, it exposes two screws that secure the top of the center console. Remove these screws. Remove the access plate just forward of the seat by pulling straight up on the edges on the top of this cover when both the fuel door and the glove compartment are open. This cover is secured by rubberized friction clips and just snaps on/off. There are two bolts on the bottom of the center console panel, remove these. Also on the left-hand side of the console is a single screw which needs to be removed. The center console is now free to be moved to one side or other and it is not necessary to unclip the connectors unless you desire to. Be sure to take a photo of the connectors before you remove them to make sure you get them back on in the right order. My adventure in partially disassembling my bike did teach me about how easy it really is to remove the side panels and farring assembly. There are quite a few steps involved and is not for the faint-hearted or those who are not mechanically inclined. Take that as fair warning. The actual installation of the module would have taken about a half hour if I have known where the harness connector was located in the first place. I suspect that there may be how to video's on YouTube that covers the steps that I took which may save you time and frustration, but being the lunk-head stubborn Ole Fart that I am, I did it the hard way. So far the DGD-KIM-V2 does exactly what it does as advertised by Digital Guard Dawg and has the advantage of putting the key-fob either manual for fully automatic mode. When I am working on my bike in the garage I put it into manual mode to do testing on upgrades to the electrical system and it saves the batteries of the fob. Otherwise, I keep it in automatic mode and it performs like my old Harley fob. I do like the selectability of the two modes which is a definite advantage over the Harley system. I found an accessory switch on Amazon that is the fraction of the price of an OEM panel switch for a Vision. Here is the link if you are interested in buying this switch: http://amzn.com/B0031P08DUI can't justify spending nearly $30 for the OEM panel switch when this one is identical and fits the cut-out on the panel. I soldered the ground wire to an existing grounding lug under the center console cover plate on the center spine and soldered the accessory wire to the switch. Crimp lugs could have been used as well for ease of installation, but I'm a bit old skool and prefer to solder my connections. So far I'm loving this gadget and it should have been an OEM item in the first place, but I gotta complain about something. Ride it like you stole it! Peace Out!

Like it so far!
Pretty easy to install and so far it works great!! I will have to get another Fob just to make sure I'm covered in case of losing the one the came with the system, but that's the only negative thing I have so Far.
