Great for hockey goalies
As a goalie, it gives you extra knee protection (just a little) but more importantly cushioning for when you drop to butterfly. Pretty breathable too.

Really Like These!
I got these for my son-15, 6'1" about 170. He has a long legs, and the large fit him well. They are compression pants, but the padding is the kicker here. If you want simple compression garments, these aren't for you. If the idea is to wear them under pants for added warmth-same. These are for playing in-period.Our son is a Varsity basketball player, at this age they are getting more physical. Diving for balls, drawing fouls, etc-and if you've ever been knee-knocked on the court, well you know how much that can hurt. Pants like these provide some light compression, but they also offer protection from the guaranteed bumps and bruises. Won't protect you completely, but it's better than nothing!Like the other items from UA we've gotten, these washed well, and did indeed dry quickly. The hex padding allows nice movement-one complaint he's had with other garments like this. And the color is a neutral black-goes with everything! You pay a bit more but I don't necessarily think it's just for the name-the construction is solid, and the material has held up well with almost daily use for the month or so. Doesn't sound like a lot, but pants like this can lose elasticity quickly with frequent use, and I haven't noticed any issues so far. All in all these are great pants, that he can comfortably wear underneath his uniform (shorts).

The padding is terrible quality. Got destroyed after one wash.
The padding is not durable. was only able to play for a few weeks before it came apart

NOT FULL LENGTH - actually 3/4 length tights
The description and picture indicate these are full length tights. I even double checked in the questions section and the seller reassured they are full length. I got a pair and submitted for a replacement. Both pairs were 3/4. Under Armour’s tag on them specifically says “3/4 tight” so I’m not dimensionally blind or anything. Note, nobody else in the entire interwebs sells these in full length. If it weren’t for the picture, I would have thought the seller was completely mistaken. My guess is that the full length has been discontinued for a while and the old stock is dried up and replaced with 3/4. p.s. I’ve been ordering Black in size Medium.

Comfortable, great padding but compression is weak
Of you plan on getting these for they compression capabilities get something else. This is a very light and thin fabric that makes it very airy, cool and comfortable but lacks compression "strength" to prevent fatigue. The padding is a really neat design and I trully love it. The hex shape allows for a very comfortable yet thick padding so not only do I use it to play Basketball but also whenever I need to spend time kneeling down on the floor (playing with the kids, gardening...) it absobs shocks so well it is really impressive. Overall a great product, falling shortbon the compression side.

Great Padding
I've become a huge fan of Under Armour and their padding. When I first saw it, I was skeptical due to the honey web design. I was concerned that it could cause spreading, and the part you were trying to protect would end up getting hurt. My daughter has been using a similar set of pads to these, and they've been great. I got these for my son's lacrosse season, but he hasn't really gotten a chance to try them out thoroughly yet. I had him try them on though, just in case I had to return them. They fit really snug, so make sure you get your sizing correct. He has no restriction from movement, with any direction he goes or when he squats. I'm worried that they may get a little warm though. He seems pleased with them, so I am too.

Protects while allowing movement
Not only are these tights really comfortable, but they offer some padding and protection without restricting your movement the way most pads will. The fabric allows you to stay cool and dry, and the compression helps improve circulation for better performance and stability.

Official UA, great fit, comfortable padding
Was a little afraid to buy from a non-official store, but it is legit and comes with an official tag. Hex padding is amazing for all kinds of sports - I used mine for goalkeeping on harsh and abrasive pitches. Great value for money.
