Best-Rite TLC-2 -Deluxe Teacher's Learning Center Easel (805)

Used several whiteboard easels as a teacher and administrator, but this one is superb! I assembled it myself in less than 30 minutes. it would have been faster with another person to hold, but still easy. My tutoring students love the magnetic lined pad that can be added for ease of writing. I love the way the back holds a chart table steady for writing or work. Large write on/wipe off surface perfect for magnetic letters and a variety of tutoring lessons for all ages. This would be a great product for a home school parent, grandparent with several grandchildren, or even a day care. Price is excellent for the quality of the learning center compared to many school supply stores. As a principal I spent $100+ more for classroom easels that weren't as high quality. The footprint of the easel is typical for this type, so plan on it taking up space. But the castors on the bottom make it easy to move quickly out of the way. There were parts missing so we have been unable to put it together. I reached out to the company and they were going to send replacement parts but that hasn’t ever happened. So frustrating to spend money on something and not be able to use it. I have 6 classrooms and would have definitely bought a couple more if it worked.

I love this easel. Super easy to move around, and my kindergarteners can reach it easily. The only issue was one of the plastic tubs was broken when I opened the boxes, but not terribly. The magnetic sheet has several wrinkles in it, but still usable. Great product for the price!

I had my eye on one of this easel because it had storage room underneath and it also had wheels that locked. It was also the best price around for a product like this!! My school requires teachers to stack everything in their room on permanent bookshelves or have it on wheels so the custodians can polish the floors at the end of the school year. I've not only been able to have the custodians roll it out of the room, but I can keep tons of books in the bins over the summer as well.Assembling it was fairly easy. It came in a few boxes and it WAS heavy. Since it came in many boxes, I didn't want to have to lug all of it to school to put it together there, so I opted to assemble it at home and put it in my car. I had an extra set of hands to help put it together just incase, but it was overall simple. It took about 20 minutes to put it together. I needed that extra set of hands to put it in my car and take it out of my car, but it wheeled into school easily.The white board itself is great quality because it's easy to wipe off. There isn't any marker residue left over. It is also magnetic so I can hang posters or paper from it. I can keep all the extra school supplies I have at students' reach so they can easily grab it when needed. The removable ledge that keeps the markers tends to fall off when my kids accidentally bump it, but it's easy to put back. I'm sure I could use some cable ties to "permanently" attach it. I don't use big books in my classroom, but I can see that it would be useful to have the other side to hang them from.The only issues that I had with the easel was that it took a long time to get it. Close to three weeks or so. At one point I had even contacted the company to make sure that my order went through and wasn't lost. Maybe I was just too excited about it that I became impatient. After receiving and assembling it, I realized that the black shelf that sits above the plastic bins was warped and didn't lie flat. Having 2nd graders around it wouldn't have made it safe, so I contacted the company and they replaced it immediately at no cost. I didn't even have to pay shipping to return the old piece that was warped (they didn't even want it back).Overall, I would definitely buy this product again. For the price that you are paying for it (compared to other wheeling easels), it's a steal. I'm hoping it lasts for years to come!!

I was thrilled to find this amazing easel for such an affordable price. It was easy to set up, had all the parts it needed, and has wonderful features that I look forward to using in my classroom. Unfortunately, since my easel arrived with some bents and dings in it, I cannot give it the full 5 stars it likely deserves. In the first four pictures I added, you can see the superficial markings on the front frame, the scuff on the black tray, and the slight bend in the bucket rack. Overall, these issues do not bother me too much, since they are not too visible, and they do not affect the functionality of the easel. The slight bend in the drawer rack (see picture 3) gave me some trouble sliding at first, but after I flipped it around it moved much more smoothly.The main reason I am giving 3 stars is because the metal book rack (part P-4) is not functional. Two of the horizontal bars aren’t attached to the main frame, which causes them to flop around (See picture 4). I cannot properly install this piece behind the front part of the board because the rack does not stay level. One side of the rack latches on to the frame correctly, but the other side does not fully go down into the groves in the frame. Since the metal bars aren’t soldered down on the rack, it also does not offer any support to hold anything.I want to love this item, but I am disappointed that I paid over $200 for an easel with a broken rack and several dents. I still intend to put this easel to good use in my classroom, I just wish it had been in better shape upon arrival. It may be worth it to spend a little more and order this same easel from somewhere else.

Item arrived quickly but box was damaged. One of the plastic bins was cracked. I contacted the seller and a new bin was shipped free of charge. The easel is perfect for the classroom setting.

I was able to purchase easels for the entire staff. Everyone has been positive about the features that are included and the durability. Two pieces came in with a crack and the company replaced them as soon as they were made aware. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a durable multifunctioning easel.
