I bought two of these for two different Creative Zen Micro mp3 players and they work!

Worked great until it didn't. Which was two months (and 4-5 charge cycles) after purchase. Won't take a charge, (obviously) won't hold a charge, and -- because the Zen Micro apparently requires a living, breathing battery to operate (even if running off USB/AC adapter) -- now renders the entire device non-functional when installed. At least the old batteries have enough oomph left so you can use the unit with plug-in power. This one is headed to the landfill.

Update: After more than 18 months and dozens of recharge cycles, the battery is still going strong!Original Review: Works great at a fairly low price. My old Zen micro still works, but the original battery was giving me only about 20 minutes on a charge. This battery charged up well, and now I can record and/or play for hours on one charge. Don't know yet hw it will perform after many, many charges, but so far so good.

I bought this for a Zen that I have had for many years and thought was useless due to the battery not staying charged. Since buying this replacement battery it is like having a brand new Zen. I use it to get a FM signal at the American AIrlines Center to get the Dallas Stars games broadcasts.

Worked fine for awhile but now it won’t charge. Waste of money.

I bought a new Mp3 from Creative and hated it!!!. I just wanted my old Zen micro to work but after 5 years, the batteries (I had two) finally gave way. I found this battery and gave it a try - I figured it was worth the price to salvage my sanity - and IT WORKED! Worth the price and I returned the newer creative Mp3 for a refund. I'm not sure how long this battery will last but if they continue to sell it and I need another, I will buy another. Packaging and shipping were very good.**** 1/11/13: It's been over a year now and this battery is still going strong....

I found an old Creative mp3 in a thrift store for 3 bucksIt wouldn't power up or charge.Took a chance on this and it worked fine after an initial charge.It was already loaded with music, lol.I may change some of it though, if I can find a driver disk for it.I tried a Bluetooth transmitter with it and that works too.

I replaced the original battery on my Creative Zen Micro. I bought this battery on Aug. 1st and battery is finally dead in 3 months. I also noticed the charging processing is not consistent after 2 months, sometimes it can be changed and sometimes it can't, on either the USB changing or the AC changing.
