FOXWELL NT530 for Porsche Multi-System OBD2 Diagnostic Scanner Read Erase Error Codes

Unit I ordered is a NT530 for my Aston Martin. It’s super easy to use and is set up for every system on my car. Customer support is also top notch. I texted Matt and he got back to me within five minutes and walked me through how to set the device up for my vehicle. If you have any issues with this unit, it’s most likely just getting the software correct, these guys will take care of you and they do it fast. I will be buying from them again.

This scanner will read all the modules in my 2006 Porsche Boxster. Of particular importance is the ability to read the TCU module and get the transmission fluid temp. This measurement is necessary to ensure you get an accurate fill when refilling the transmission.As a bonus you can also perform coding. I used this tool to disable the unbuckled seatbelt chime. I was also able to enable auto-lock when the vehicle speed goes over 5 km/h.Great tool to have in my toolbox

Seller ship it to Turkey without a shipping box in a nylon bag, I receive it with a crushed open bag. You don't even ship an expensive electronic like this to your neighbor in a nylon bag is it logical to ship an electronic to an oversea country which is 6.300 miles away. Luckily product inside scratched and little crushed but works fine. The usb stick that came with the product is broken and not working, I wonder what is in it (Maybe installation files, I had to find them and install all by myself.)It is not easy to use and when I call foxwell customer service they refuse to help because I did not buy the product directly from them. They told me that I should contact the seller which is nearly impossible in my case beacuse I live in a country 6.300 miles away and I don't have the info of the seller.

User friendly with reasonable price!

The scanner/coder works very well. Resets service intervals, codes features previously unavailable (such as holding the lock button will roll the windows up), diagnoses faults (had a fuel pump failure and was able to diagnose as the low pressure fuel pump), and shows ECU and PDK software status. Great purchase that paid for itself in 6 months.

The tool could be useful for some troubleshooting. I was fairly impressed with the depth of it's ability to dive into certain systems. But I bought this to recode a faulty light module. That function is not supported with the NT 530 & a '16 Porsche Cayenne. The programming option doesn't even populate in the menu. Maybe other makes/models? This is not for me.

I was told if I bought this to use on my Porsche, I could get Cam deviation readings and over rev report. I later found out that it won’t do over rev report. Tried to see the Cam Deviation. No joy. Emailed the seller, told me to update the software, I did, still doesn’t work. It does have some features a regular code reader doesn’t, so I guess not a total loss.

Easy to use, came pre programmed from Foxwell. It worked to reset my airbag light and it looks like it can reset the oil change interval as well, which I’ll test later this year when it’s time to do an oil change.
