On the shelf too long or stored in too warm a space??
The product was apparently old because the hardener wouldn't come out of the syringe. I had to break the double syringe apart to dig the hardener out with a metal tool. It was a mess to deal with. Otherwise, the product worked to cement 2 pieces of a concrete tile together.

Failed product
I set up a project intending to use this product to attach electric workbox to a wall and following the directions i snipped off the 2 tops and pressed and while the lighter gray color material came out the darker never flowed. In fact i use a plumbers wrench to try to squeeze the plunger down and no movement. Then i took the boxcutter and cut into the nozzle that wouldn't flow and the substance was congealed...not rock hard buy not flowing. Then, needing to get the job done, I cut open the cylinder that wouldn't flow and it was of the consistently of sludge. Obviously Loctite was sending Amazon a VERY defective product (interestly the package label states Exp date of 2028) I have now thrown away and will try another product. Very disappointed. If loctite cares i have a picture of the product order # and the cut open cylinder full of sludge. I am not looking for any refund from Amazon...this is solely loctite's quality control failure.

A great epoxy for general use
I have been using this epoxy for twenty years. I used it to attach plastic to plastic, metal to metal, and metal to plastic. I also used it to patch a small hole in a kitchen drain pipe. The epoxy dries hard and can be used to provide air tight and water tight seals. I recently knocked over a can of Easy Off Oven Cleaner to the tile floor. The plastic nozzle was broken off but there was a small length of the nozzle left. I had a clear plastic hose that fit over the broken nozzle end and I attached a new Rustoleum Paint nozzle to the other end of the clear plastic hose. I sealed both parts with this epoxy and I can push down the broken end of the original nozzle. The Easy Off comes out as a stream, not a spray but I can still clean the oven, tile, and porcelain. The only problem with the Loctite Concrete/Metal Epoxy is one of the two parts will dry out sitting on the shelves. Consumers all across the country discovered this (including me) and returned the epoxy. Lowes got so many complaints they stopped carrying this epoxy. Loctite has been aware of the problem since they first introduced this epoxy. Last year I bought a tube from my Ace Hardware store. I brought it to the car and cut off the two ends. Both parts were dry and hard. I brought it right back and showed the epoxy to the store employees. I told them the problem Loctite was having with this particular epoxy. When I returned to the store a few months later, all of the Concrete/Metal Epoxy was gone. The employees told me they returned all of the epoxy to their supplier. With this possible caveat in mind, I would still recommend buying the Loctite Concrete/Metal Epoxy. I have found it to be a great epoxy for all of my repairs and projects.

Hard to get out but otherwise works as described.
Ok... reading other reviews and it is agreed that this stuff is hard to push out! It is soooooo thick! Received today, used today. It is a brand new box. Not sure if it was old stock but it really was hard to push the plunger down. But easy to use once you get the product out. I ended up mixing it on a box and then applied the epoxy. Dries quickly. Grey in color. Canโt beat the price.

Nice stuff!
Awesome stuff. Found a review on youtube of someone testing different epoxy's, and this one came out the winner. I can't say I completely agree with the approach they took, but it was enough to convince me to try this epoxy after my Gorrila Glue Epoxy ran out. I am impressed so far. I can already tell that this epoxy holds tighter than the Gorilla Glue epoxy, Elmers Epoxy, and what ever brand I find at the big box stores when I need it. I ended up using this to epoxy a u-joint retainer in a stock driveshaft of an old vehicle that does not have a rebuild-able driveshaft. This is only temporary until we get the money to have a new one built. I would not expect an epoxy to last very long in this type of application as it has both rotation force trying to fling it off, as well as vibration, heat, water, and road grit to beat away at it. SO far it has help up for many weeks with no signs of failing. Not only do I recommend this epoxy, but I will continue to buy it myself.

Good Product But Half Unusable (one side partially cured)
The amount of material I got out of the dispenser to blend seemed to work well, but I could only access 1/2 of the contents. The half of the clear cartridge side seemed to have cured in the dispenser and would not budge. Not obvious flaws in the dispenser so I'm just guessing it was beyond its shelf life.

Works Like Magic
Fixed my leaky kitchen sink pipe. I think the pipe is like 30 years old and when I squeezed it, it felt like paper and the whole thing was going to break. I applied the entire epoxy material and basically created a new part of the pipe and the pipe is good as new. Some suggestions would be to use a disposable applicator like a popsicle stick or something better because you won't be cleaning this stuff off. Of course, the mixing tray should be disposable as well. Disposable gloves would be highly recommended. I forgot mine but was lucky I only got a very small drop on my pinky. It eventually came off after many washings over several days. Will it last? Who knows? But I love the fact that I did this myself and don't have to hire an expensive plumber to fix it.

Turned to powder
Definitely don't recommend for drilling through. I bought it specifically to be able to fill a hole and then drill through. It was too thick for filling the diameter hole completely so thats partly my fault...the part where it failed was the drilling portion. Its able to be drilled through too well, complete broke down and turned to powder. I had 3/4in wide 3in deep hole and I filled around 2in worth and left it for a week. As soon as I started drilling with a 3/8 bit I know it wasn't going to hold. Ended up cleaning it all out and went with another brand.

Not very strong
I watched a video initially that compared different epoxy resins and this one came out top, however only used on an aluminium pole that was cracked and it wasn't up to the job. Disappointed as should have easily been capable of the required repair. Wouldn't buy again.
