HERSHEY'S Semi Sweet Chocolate Baking Chips Bags, 12 oz (12 Count)

I’ve been using Hershey chocolate chips for years. Good flavor and quality; they melt well The regular chocolate chips have always been nut free which is important to our household. (I still check every time though since these things change).

I like making chocolate desserts and treats, so I go through a lot of chocolate chips. These have a good, rich flavor, not too sweet, and without being expensive. I had no trouble with the shipping - all of the bags were intact, and none had melted or showed any bloom. They all tested fresh, no hint of rancid or other undesirable flavors. Will definitely purchase again.

Life would not be quite the same without Hershey's Baking Pieces, Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips. I make chocolate chip oatmeal cookies with nuts and coconut. They are so delicious. The last batch was shared with two neighbors and some friends who loved them. Now I have to make a new batch. My husband eats them like a little treat but I use them for baking fudge brownies and cakes. The chocolate is great quality for baking and much less expensive than having to buy bars and break the bars into pieces.

My husband ordered me a case of the Hershey chocolate chips as a surprise as I use so much chocolate making Christmas items I opened my surprise today and I was surprised every package was melted into cocoa. He stored it in a cool dry location I can not use any of it!!!

I like that these make a darn fine chocolate chip cookie. The flavor is outstanding. It does take a few extra days to receive them and the box they arrived in was really beat up but none of the bags broke open so I guess I can't complain.

I won't buy them in the summer again, and that would be my advice if you live south of the Mason-Dixon line... I did and it resulted in bunches of the chips melting together into giant clumps of chocolate. Not the fault of Hershey or Amazon, the only problem was user created.

These are in heavy use this holiday season and I've been baking up a storm - fudge, cookies, you name it! I trust hershey's chips for a great final product and Amazon delivers on a great price. I've tried a few different brands in the past and I'm quite happy with this brand of chocolate chips - in both semi-sweet and special dark.

I like having the chips handy - had to do some changes to the recipe on the bag. but is useful to have on hand
