I love this set
BEWARE!!! The Tablespoon is NOT 15ml (3 teaspoons). I love this set. I love that it is stainless. I love the durability. That being said.... while using my Tablespoon, I thought the amount of ingredients I needed looked "off,." but hey.... I was sure the company had Quality Assurance in place. When my biscuits (which ALWAYS turn out) didn't rise properly, I decided to use a "medicine cup" to check "to the ml" for accuracy. Each measuring spoon was accurate, EXCEPT the Tablespoon. It is 1/2 teaspoon shy (2.5ml) of 15ml. When a baker needs 3 Tablespoonfuls of something, this measuring spoon ends up shorting your recipe 1-1/2 teaspoons!! That's a LOT of missed ingredient! Again, great workmanship, but the Tablespoon is 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) short. Their Tablespoon only measures 2-1/2 teaspoonfuls.

A Great Upgrade- The Best Measuring Cup and Spoon Set
As someone who loves to bake I decided to upgrade my measuring cups and spoon set with these from Acutos. I really like that each measuring cup doesn't only mark off each individual cup measure but also other cup measures too. For example the 1/2 measure also marks off the 1/3 cup measure as well. So if I'm using a recipe that calls for 1/2 cup of something and 1/3 cup of something else, all I need to do is pull out my 1/2 cup measure and I'm good to go.Also useful that both the measuring cups and spoons also have the measurements in milliliters and they come with cups and spoon measurements my old sets didn't have. For instance there is a 2/3 cup measuring cup and a 3/4 measuring cup. Also a 1/8 teaspoon measuring spoon and a 3/4 teaspoon measuring spoon. What I also find great and which will come in handy for when I'm doubling or reducing a recipe and end up with slightly abnormal measurements like 1/6 cup of something, there is a 1/6 cup measure on the 1/4 cup measuring cup. How cool is that! These measuring cups and spoons will definitely be useful for anyone who likes the kitchen. Can also see it as a great gift set to a newlywed couple or someone moving into their first home or apartment.

AT LAST! ODD-SIZE MEASURERS
Just received my set and am delighted with the heft and design of both the measuring spoons and the cups. Best of all, I now have spoons for the 2 odd quantities I use often: 1/2 tablespoon and 1/8 teaspoon! The cups are made with no seam between handle, rim, & cup (to trap flour, etc), and ALL handles are rigid enough to actually scoop ingredients out of containers (including narrow spice jars) without bending. Even the removable rings holding the sets together are sturdy (and look rustproof). It's obvious a lot of thought and care went into designing & manufacturing these utensils - wish I'd found them long ago!2 suggestions for the next run: include a 2-cup measuring cup; consider making the cup bottoms flat so they can be used to press dough and crumbs into the bottom & sides of cake pans. Thank you!3/30/2019 - UPDATEThe little tab on the edge of each measuring cup is just big enough to jam inside the cup 2 sizes larger, which happens alot when you're using them regularly.

Well-made, high quality measuring cups and spoons
I love these measuring cups and spoons. They are very well made and substantial enough that they don't fly out of the silverware basket in my dishwasher. The oblong shape of the spoons allows them to fit inside the mouths of small spice jars and the ones with the half-moon shaped holes. I was worried about how well the markings were imprinted in the metal, but they are pretty deep and look like they won't wear down over time. The cups and spoons are linked with a ring that is simple to open and take off. One other random thing I like: the cups and spoons have a comfortable, retro feel to them and make me think of my grandmother when I use them! Weird, but there you go.

Heads and shoulders above the rest
These are simply the best measuring cups/spoons I have ever had. The first thing you notice is the striking heft of the pieces--unlike any other I have tried. And then all of the superb details such as mL markings and markings within the cups to denote smaller measurements impress you. The engraved markings are an improvement on the painted markings on some sets that quickly wear off, leaving you staring quixzically at a spoon to ascertain its measurement. Then the little pour spouts.... You get it. These are just heads and tails above the multiple sets I've acquired for my kitchen and as part of prepping for my small business. The only improvement I could recommend would be multiples of the most commonly used sizes (tsp, tbsp, 1/2 cup), since most of the set would be redundant if bought twice.

Outstanding set - heavy well built and tick utensils unlike 95% of all other measures. They also have the ML measurement behind the standard measure - great if you have mostly professional recipes that go by percentages, weight and volumes.Do you need to buy these if you don't go by weight and volume - probably not BUT THESE WILL LAST FOREVER and are very accurate. If you like cheaply made Chinese things then buy something else. If you never use weights and ML from recipes then you can stay with the standard measures

solid set of cups and spoons
I finally upgraded my plastic measuring cups and spoons to these stainless steel ones, wish I'd done it sooner. The cups are a good weight, so they can stand on their own without tipping. The measurements are etched in, so it doesn't eventually rub and wear off like my plastic ones. Since they are metal and non-porous, there is no smell residue either. I also love the long handles on the spoons, and how they are elongated instead of round- it makes scooping things out of containers with a narrow opening much easier! They claim they are stainless steel and therefore they should be rust free, but I would still make sure to dry them before putting them away, since I have had lots of experiences with other stainless steel products obtaining rust.
