Krex Graphite Super Lubricant Oiler

Previously wrote review of another graphite product purchased at same time in error. Had not carefully looked at details and did not realize Krex Graphite is an oil based product.. I do stupid stuff like that especially if the print is small. The first time made a mess but subsequent uses worked well. Found that putting a small amount on the key and inserting got things working much better. Remember to toughly wipe the key before putting in your pocket. I actually prefer the powder but there are some applications this will be better.

This Graphite Lubricant was exactly what I was looking for! Had a super dry dead bolt lock on my front door that was difficult to slide the key into and even more impossible to unlock once the key was in. Applied the product into the tumbler/key hole and used the key to work it into the assembly. Wiped off excess lubricant on both the lock and key with a rag and now the dead bolt locks and unlocks as smooth as butter/easy peasy! Used it also on my trucks door hinges with same smooth results! Just remember, this lubricant comes out wet unlike most dry graphite lubricants but it works great. Just make sure you have a rag cause it could make a mess if your not careful!

Worked well on door hinges. Was less viscous then I was expecting but I guess it was able to penetrate all of the parts easily. It does drip so you need to clean up after.

Makes those key tumblers smooth. Had a motorcycle igbition switch that was gritty....after using this product- slick as butter. GREAT product!

I'm sure there are many other uses for this but mine is primarily to lube the stress points on guitar strings and tremolo systems. It works wonderfully. If your guitar doesn't stay in tune, buy this. It's a must for every guitarist.

Worked well for my locks

Good product. Takes time to apply. depends on the floors and condition of the floors. If the squeaks have been there a long time, the tougher it is go get them lubed. But it does work. just need to keep at it.
