An excellent tool which works as advertised when used properly
I recommend this tool because it grinds well and it does a good job collecting dust when used correctly.I used the Dry Diamond Cup Wheel which came with the tool. How to useTo maximize GSC15's dust collection capability, here is what I did:Get ComfortableGet in a comfortable position allowing you to easily control the tool while remain relaxed. I used a 5-gallon bucket, turning it upside down. On top of the bucket, I placed a large folded towel. I then laid my chest on top of that. In this position, I didn't need any muscular effort to continue grinding for long periods. Use knee pads to protect your knees.Protect Yourself and Your Home from Concrete Dust:Since I am a novice, I did the following to protect myself and my home from my newbie mistakes. I sealed the HVAC return registers. I turned off my home's HVAC and its fan. I stapled polyethylene sheeting on every surface of the rooms I was going to grind. I wore a full-face respirator.Dust Extractor SetupI used the "OSHA Compatible Kit with HEPA Level Filtration and Cyclonic Dust Bags for Select 12 -16 Gal. Wet/Dry Shop Vacuums" setup on my Rigid dust extractor. That worked great.Connect the CSG15 to Dust ExtractorI could not find any resource which unambiguously stated what adapter would connect a CSG15 to a common Rigid wet/dry vacuum. Product pages on Home Depot, Amazon and Bosch all mention certain dimensions, as opposed to plainly stating something like 'The GSG15 may be connected to a Rigid vacuum using the XYZ adapter'. Instead, each site mentions certain dimensions, without condescending to note where these dimensions are taken (inside or outside diameter). I managed to hack together something: one of the adapters in this set sort of worked: https://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGID-Hose-and-Accessory-Adapter-Kit-for-RIDGID-Wet-Dry-Shop-Vacuums-VT1755/202077239. The 2-1/2" to 1-7/8" adapter is at least the right size. Unfortunately, it does not lock into the Bosch. I used aluminum foil tape to seal the connection: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Nashua-Tape-1-89-in-x-50-yd-322-Multi-Purpose-HVAC-Foil-Tape-1541239/100030120Using the GSC15Used as follows, it is easy to have good dust extraction:1. Connect the tool to your dust collection1. Get into a comfortable position. See above.2. Turn it on (using the slide on-off switch), locking it in the on position. See p. 10 of Operating and Safety Instructions.3. With the wheel now spinning, place the wheel on the concrete. Holding it with both hands slide it back and forth, keeping it flat. For my application I found the CGS15 required almost no down pressure; I simply nudged it gently back and forth. You might have to push down harder for harder and/or rougher concrete. If you are grinding a lot of concrete, take a break every now and then to make sure the cyclonic dust collection bag in your wet/dry vacuum has not filled up. When that bag becomes full, you will know almost instantly because the dust collection will suddenly become poor.Using the GSC15 Near Wall EdgesTo maximize dust extraction when grinding at wall edges, do this:1. Turn the CGS15 off. Slide the Guard Locking Device forward, move the movable part of the guard into position. See p. 10 of Operating and Safety Instructions.2. Turn the CGS15 on. Place the (now open part of the dust extraction guard) down at the wall edge. In other words: don't start far away from the wall. Instead, lower the CGS15's grinding wheel down on the concrete almost at the wall's edge.3. With the GCS15 at the wall's edge, move it to the right. I found as long as I always moved from left to right, the dust extraction remained very good. If I moved the opposite direction, more dust escaped.SummaryAn excellent tool which works as advertised when used properly.

Worth Every Penny
I ordered this on 1/27/2020 at 15:00 hrs EST and Amazon delivered it on 1/28/2020 at 12:25 hrs EST. Spectacular delivery! The unit comes complete with a concrete grinding wheel, an integral dust collection shroud with a 1-1/2" connection as well as extra shroud brushes and o-rings. The carrying case is the typical top quality Bosch case.I hooked it up to the RIGID shop vac I had available to me today and secured my 1-1/2" hose to the dust collector with some duct tape and went to work.I knocked out about 75 square feet of thinset and out of level concrete in 25 minutes. My biggest problem was my own dust collection system. If you read a number of the other reviews you will note that several of them recommend a "dust deputy" ahead of the vacuum and that is in fact an excellent suggestion. I have two more phases of my project yet to do and both are larger. I will get the best dust collection system I can manage when I'm not under a time gun as I was today, and this tool will handle the job with ease.I'm truly amazed at how well this worked, and considering the value of my time this tool is/was worth every penny.

Makes Concrete Dreams Come True
If you are looking to smooth your concrete get this. It will make your dreams come true. I resurfaced over 180 LF of basement wall in under 12 hrs with beautiful results. Effortless power, great dust collection and superior results. The supplied blade works superb on concrete foundation walls, removing form joints, tie marks and other imperfections. Again, if you have a project that requires heavy resurfacing of concrete walls or floors get this.

Good grinder
Good grinder. I used it to grind high spots on concrete slab before laying laminate. One thing however keeps me from giving the grinder five stars:1. The wheel cup came off twice. Both times was when I powered off the grinder and lifted it from the floor waiting for the cup to stop spinning. Somehow that lets the lock nut become loose and come off with the wheel. I stopped lifting the grinder off the ground when I turn it off until the wheel stops and I have not had any more accidents. I am certain the lock nut was tightened securely before it came off both times. Also, the grinder tripped the circuit breaker in my house 4 -5 times during one day use. Every time that happened, I was pushing on the grinder a little harder. Can't hold that against the grinder though, 12.5 Amps and a large shop vac plugged in the same circuit is fairly close to the limit.I feel the grinder was a little expensive but worked very well, no dust.
