Solid bike in the cheap bike era
Seems like there are so many cheap kids bikes (and adults for that matter) today. The need to get everything we want has led to these cheap bikes that fall apart after minimal use. I remember having only 2 or 3 bikes growing up because I outgrew them not because they fell apart. Today, bike chains seem to fall off frequently, and other parts like pedals, tires, brakes, etc, wear out or break quite often. The Elite BMX bikes (we got one for 2 of our kids) seem to have a noticeably better build quality. So far, they’ve held up where the cheaper Walmart type bikes have had issues already. I guess time will tell but I notice significant differences already and one of the bikes has been ridden for several months now. Also, these bikes were easy to assemble taking minutes instead of hours. Would definitely recommend these bikes.
