Lasko 2520 Oscillating Stand Fan,White 16 Inch

I've had this fan 1 day and I have to say I'm very pleased with its operation. It is relatively quiet. All fans make noise, but this noise is consistent, pleasant, no squeals or squeaks, no high pitch sonics and especially no variable thrum (variation of sound is what drives people nuts). It makes a good 'white noise' sleep aid, even at level 3. Probably the best fan I've ever purchased. At $30 it's a reasonable price. I do wish it tilted back a little more (for ceiling air distribution) but it's fine as is. Note: at first I thought the flimsy vinyl blades would be wobbly and not powerful. But they work well and produce plenty of air flow. The blades are also well-balanced, so none of that wobbly stuff we often see in competitive fans.

This fan is exactly what I needed. It was replacing an older version of itself that had run 1000's of hours. I use it to circulate heat off a woodstove and the fan just sits and runs for months on end. After 5 years, it finally wore out. This replacement was almost exactly like the previous fan but had a few upgrades, like the switch set and the fan blade itself. This blade is made differently and is a touch larger. It moves air better than their previous version. Meaning, they truly are trying to make better products all the time. The fan looks great and the noise level is lower than the previous version. The assembly is stupid easy and I had it together in a few minutes. Great value for the money - Highly Recommended

This is an excellent fan. Great value. I bought two of them for the price of a name brand fan and am so pleased with the quality of this fan. Plastic but the air flow is great. Easy assembly too. Highly recommend this fan.

Easy to set up. Looks good. Easy to use. Not too noisy - sounds like a regular fan. Airflow is good. It's all plastic so rather light. However it does it's job so I'm happy with it.

I got 2 of these and they work great I have one in my beedroom and it keeps the room cool. it's a good price and works fine,

I bought 2 fans that day. This one and a black one from another company. This fan, even though it has plastic blades, and cheap, it blows some serious air. I have had NO issues with it. The black one from the other company was trash. The blades were also plastic but flimsy. It would not blow any air on High!!! -->stick with this one...iva had it for months, I run it every day and I would buy it again in a heart beat.

Why cant anything ANYTHING be built to quality these days? It keeps dropping down to lowest height despite it supposedly being extendable. Itll raise up, we will tighten but as soon as we set it to oscillate- bam, down to lowest level which is lower than the bed height. Absolute rubbish. And Im writing this at 04:16 after a crap night sleep battling this junk thats not even worth the copper in the wire

The adjustable legs keep dropping to the lowest level.

Easy to assemble. Perfect wind flow. Highest level is a bit loud but not so much. Good for the price. I saw a few reviews that it’s filmsy which is not true. It’s firm if you correctly install it. The instruction manual is for no use. One less star for poor instructions
