Does this hookah stove have a euro or US plug ?

Will this Hookah burner work for starting binchon white japanese charcoal? white charcoal is very hard to get going.

With our coals burners you can heat up hookah charcoal, cubes or flats or ovals, but we are not sure about Japanese charcoal since it differs in size. It will heat it up but it may take up some time to do it.

Is there a lid to help speed up the heating process? Is it safe to cover the top?

Hello, these electric charcoal lighters do not have a lid! Unfortunately, we didn't test with covering the hot plate, you can try that but be careful.

Nice Burner and great customer service

Updated review: after leaving my initially review on Amazon, M. Rosenfeld customer service is impeccable. To honor their warranty, they reached out to me to rectify the situation and offered to provide me with a new replacement burner, free of charge. This showed me they truly care about their customers experience and stand behind their product. As I mentioned previously, the burner was great, it just stopped working after a short period of time. I will update you after I receive the new one and give it a try. Thank you M. Rosenfeld for paying attention to the reviews and reaching out to resolve my problem.

Stops working after a few weeks.

I saw another review. It said the same thing. I've had it for a few weeks and then it just stopped working. The light is on but nothing is happening. I would definitely say the quality is not as good as some of the others. I personally would not buy this one again.

Good burner, better value!

Great burner and a great value. Very easy to use, simply plug it in, turn the dial to your level of heat and it will work right away. Highly recommend.

the bottom melted out

i would say this is a great idea, not so great long term. as you can see the pan eventually warped and the bottom fell out. I've had this for exactly 4 months now with daily use. i loved the portable tray but without it, it's just like the hot plate i used before. wish it lasted longer but for the price, i guess it did what it was supposed to do
