It's a shelf
As rack shelves go, it's definitely a rack shelf. Just be aware that it won't fit any of the smaller Cablematic cabinets advertised on Amazon as it's too deep. So make sure you have at least 250mm depth in yours.

Very good, sturdy construction...Be advised the shelf floor is raised so check the height of components fitted to the shelf..
