Clever Fox Planner Premium, Undated Weekly & Monthly Planner, Black

I started bullet journaling about five or six years ago and, while I love the concept, they were taking me waaaay too long to create myself, even just a simple version without all the fancy artwork I've seen people do in theirs on YouTube. Every year I'd tweak the way I created the pages from the year before, eliminating the stuff I thought I'd use but hadn't, adding new things, trying different layouts. I even sent away to America for James Clear's Habit Journal because I liked the dedicated habit tracking pages. But it was still too much graft to set up the diary pages. And it only had two bookmarks. I began to resent the amount of time I had to spend drawing these things up every December. I was trying to improve my productivity, fergawdsakes, so having to create the flippin' bullet journals seemed entirely counter-productive! And so began my search for the ideal pre-printed journal/planner... Most of the pre-printed ones I found had something off-putting about them. They were either too flowery, had stupid illustrations or naff typefaces, or the layouts lacked something one way or another. They weren't grown-up enough, mostly. I wanted something I wouldn't be embarrassed to open in a client meeting, essentially, but still had all the planning/logging/reflection aspects I like. When I looked at the page designs of this Clever Fox planner, it seemed to me like they'd been designed by someone who'd lived my journey and felt my pain. But, unlike me, they'd had the savvy to go out there and get their ideal planner made into a real thing. And for that I am truly grateful to them. I'm looking forward to the new year, when I can get this baby started! Everything about it is just really well thought out. The cover is sturdy and handsome, the paper is nice and thick, there are three bookmarks, the folder inside the back page isn't going to rip because the sides are made of a silky fabric, the sticker sets are more usable than any other stickers that have ever come with a diary/notebook I've had before. Some of them are purely decorative/inspirational, but that's quite good; the folks at Clever Fox have hit a good balance there, I think. And the amount of dotted blank pages at the back is really generous. It's nice and minimalist, it's clean, it's tidy, and you can jazz it up a bit if you so desire. So. That's that. A week to a fortnight of time saved every December by not having to sit with a pen and ruler for hours on end drawing up every week of the new year (and inevitably making annoying mistakes), when I'd rather be practising my guitar or watching Christmas movies on Netflix. In a nutshell: if you're anything like me, buy one of these. You won't be disappointed. Update October 2022: One year on from my original review, I just wanted to add that I've bought another for 2023. And it is highly likely I'll buy another this time next year, supposing I'm still alive. Update April 2024: Yup, I bought another for this year. This has become a thing. Still loving this planner! Update September 2025: Just bought my new Clever Fox for 2026. Still a thing in my world. Happy days!

I have tried uncountable planners in my life and this is by far the best one I've come across! I've given Bullet Journaling a fair chance for over two years, but I ended up only drawing up the pages, and not actually fill them in (and never actually doing the tasks) but this one really ticks all the boxes (for my needs that is) and more. The pages are sturdy and do not bleed through (at least not with the pens that I've been using; a combination of Pilot G-Tec-C pens & Staedler markers). The photo does not give an accurate colour of the green planner, it is a perfect forrest green. In the beginning I was worried that the monthly overview pages weren't placed after each of the four weekly spreads, but I found a way to work around that with labels (as you can see in the photos), so I can easily flip back and forth between the current week and the monthly overview. All the monthly overview pages are placed after each other, and then all the weekly spreads are placed after each other. There are empty dotted pages at the very end so I also put in a monthly label for those pages if I have written anything in there for that month. There is a pen loop and a pocket in the back and I also use the very front of the book to write in my Key structure and colour codes. It also has three bookmark ribbons and since I bought the deluxe version I got it delivered in a beautiful box with stickers and a ribbon to keep the book closed which make it a beautiful gift as well. The planner has good writing prompts for setting monthly goals and to review the months and it covers 12 months of planning If I should look at it with a critical eye I would move the pen loop more to the center and not as close to the top as it is, it is a good sized book because of it's brilliant pages which make it on the heavier side (mine is currently 527grams) which is good to know if you are an avid traveller and want to keep the weight to a minimum. You still got to do the tasks tho', which is a bummer, but with this planner I find myself more likely to do them because I just want to open it up every morning and cross out the items, but I do find myself procrastinating on my real work from time to time even with this planner, by say, writing Amazon reviews (which aren't even written in the planner) when I am supposed to be doing more critical and time sensitive work, and this book unfortunately really doesn't help with that. But overall, super happy with the purchase, so much so that this is my very first Amazon review because it really deserves all the praise & I will be buying it again!

It's cute, the box definately gives it a premium experience. The little booklet gives a solid overview of how to use this journal. My biggest take away is that if you have a lot to write on a day to day then I won't work for you, there is a lot of space at the end of the book but definately not enought to last you a whole year. A downside is that the months aren't actually followed by the weeks, so you have a entire section of just months and then you have to flick to the section with all of the weeks. Having said that, it's great. I love the goals sections, the monthly review bit is dope, it's not coloured so you can decorate it whatever way you want the cover is sturdy and feels really premium but the pages don't have a lot of solid black anywhere making them look a bit meh, they are good quality tho and are pretty thick. It's a middle of the road journal giving you that extra pizzazz with the perium cover and the box. Oh and also the stickers are devine, if the pages look dull and boring then the stickers bring all the shine and the metallic for the both of them!

Bought this planner for several years now and it never disappoints. It has enough room for recording appointments. It has just enough space for my habit trackers -anymore and it would be overwhelming. I can add a weekly quote if I wish, or use the space for notes a small drawing. Plenty of note space at the back - I use a couple of pages for telephone numbers. And then there are the lovely stickers that comes with it for use o the weekly or monthly calender. I have planned my year and reviewd my goals. It allows me to see where I need to put my energy, be it family, finance or rest and relaxation. A fabulous A5 planner.

This on the whole is a good way to manage goals, break them down but it has it's faults, firstly it's not obvious there are quarterly goals sections and the stickers are not enough to cover the year for repeated tasks and you can't order replacements. This is also very American so stickers reflect that and its not general enough i.e recording gym sessions should be about recording exercise in general. All in all a nice concept but could be better executed.

I've been doing research for 2 months and this one was the perfect one for me. It comes with a booklet that gives you examples, which it's really useful when I get stuck with writing. I would say, it's perfect but when we are talking about planners, it really depends of the type of person you are. So if you are the type of person who wants to get organised and more motivated but knows that some days or even weeks, it will get hard. This is the perfect planner. At the beginning you have some deep questions about you, your life and what you want to accomplish (which you can look back the days you are feeling lost). After you get a 3 months goal planner, monthly calender with review of the month and then a weekly planners with a short review of the week which helps you see what you are lacking on and your wins. And at the end you have lots of pages to do whatever you want (journalism, lists, drawing, etc) Overall, this planner helps you focus on your goals, plan things easier and reflect on what you've done right and wrong. It really helps you learn about yourself. I hope this is the perfect planner for you, if not...there is probably the perfect planner for you waiting to be picked. GOOD LUCK

I don't even know where to start with this planner. It is amazing, and fulfils everything I've been looking for in a planner for years - with more space and half the price! It is very thought out, and helps you thoroughly plan out your week, month, and life! I would like to point out: I have not been paid to review this, or received it for free - I'm just a satisfied customer with seemingly too much time on my hands. Let's start from the beginning, the journal itself has a beautiful, softcover with stunning colour, I got baby blue! (I loved it so much, I got my sisters one each in black and navy blue and all 3 were in amazing condition with bold colours!), it has 3 ribbon bookmarks, handy for saving you daily, monthly, and goals spreads, and a pen holder that is sturdy. The first layout is basically a life planner where you get to write about; "The vision for the life I want" and "What is my life purpose?" (not pictured), I am grateful for, my affirmations, my passions, and the skills/habits I want to learn/adopt. (all pictured above). It also gives you 2 blank pages to create a vision board! It also has 2 pages dedicated to goals of different life areas (pictured) with the option to break it into 3-monthly goals and mindmaps (also pictured)! Whenever I would try to find journals with these features, a lot of the time I would only find mediocre quality products for 40 - 70 pounds! So getting all of this, with large spaces to fill out what you want, for less than £30 was an absolute steal for me! The book also gives you undated monthly, weekly, and monthly reviews (pictured above) which give you unlimited options for breaking down you goals and tasks for the month and week ahead, there is also a habit tracker!! I may be alone in this, but the second I saw it had weekly habit trackers I was instantly sold! This book is great for those who already, or wish to, reflect and review their progress and goals. As previously mentioned, at the end of each month you have a spread to review how successful your month as been - includes biggest wins, life area satisfaction, lessons learned, how you'll improve, and more. The fact it is undated too really helps as I am someone who tends to break habits if my life gets too busy due to work or college, it gives you total freedom over when you want to use it. I've shown you my spread filled out as sometimes it is better to see for yourself than to hear. overall, 10/10 all round for this product! I will be ordering more when these run out!!

I've used this planner for about two weeks. I use planners at work but wanted something specifically for home that I could organize my life a bit better. I really could not ask for a better design! I am incredibly picky with planners and have always found others to be lacking in some intangible way. This has everything: goal setting (yearly, monthly, and weekly), with space to debrief and analyze what went well, what didn't, and how you'll improve next time; habit tracker; plenty of fun stickers; and tons of dotted empty space to add whatever you want. The back of the planner is my favorite: 50 pages (25 front/back) of dotted plank pages. I've been wanting to try out bullet journaling, but was intimidated and felt like it was a waste of time to hand draw a bunch of calendars. With all this space I can do the fun part of bullet journaling and have it combined with this amazing planner. I thought having to fill out all the dates would annoy me but it really didn't take much time at all and now I'm convinced that's the way to go. My November and December is generally not very busy but January gets pretty hectic at work, so it makes much more sense for me to start the calendar in December, rather than January. I had never thought of doing this before, but I'm definitely doing it from now on. Some people complained that the stickers didn't fit in the back pocket. I just trimmed the sides of the sheets and it fits fine. The planner arrived in a very high quality gift box with an instruction/ inspiration pamphlet to get you started. The cover is sturdy but luxurious looking, the pages are high quality with no bleeding (I use sharpie pens), and the extras (3 bookmarks, pen holder, etc.) are fantastic. This planner really knows how to get you excited about organizing your life and setting/ achieving goals. I hope to use it all year and I'm already set on purchasing again next year.

Es una agenda muy interesante y de muy buena calidad, se siente lo premium desde que llega el paquete. En lo personal me encanta que ofrece el plus de mejorar no sólo la parte productiva sino tambien la vida personal. El papel es grueso y hasta el momento no se ha traspasado ninguna tinta. Me gusta mucho ademas que si la abro no se cierra a pesar de ser cosida y los tres separadores que tiene. Lo único que dejaría a consideración es que las hojas para planificar el mes (12) vienen al inicio y pensé que estarían al inicio de cada mes, no me afecta pero estaría bien considerarlo a la hora de adquirirla. Sin duda una agenda muy hermosa y que vale lo que cuesta.

I like it a lot, I feel a lot less stressed about planning. It’s also very good quality.

A gift for my daughter who loves real books and keeping notes on paper. She was really happy and the packaging help make it a great purchase.
