I'm trying hard to temper my expectations of these speakers. I bought 2 so I could stereo pair them and hang them on hooks in my backyard to play music. When I received them I had high hopes, primarily based on other reviews I read before purchasing. I guess the lesson here is that words like "amazing" and "great" are subjective. I would use words like decent or OK to describe the sound quality. Let me put it this way... my Samsung TV can output to Bluetooth, so I paired it to these Braven speakers and used them instead of the built-in TV speakers. As I think most people would agree, TV speakers are typically pretty average. I honestly can't say these were an improvement. The 2 speaker stereo setup created a quasi-surround sound effect, but there was little bass and even high trebles were not crisp or defined.That being said... like I started out saying, I'm tempering my expectations. This speaker is about 2/3 the size of a Coke can. With speakers, size matters. Only so much sound can come out of a speaker this small. I also need to consider the price point. This is not a $200+ Bose or Sonos unit. 2 of these Bravens will set you back a tad over $50. In Amazon as in life, you get what you pay for. The battery life is very good, capable of several hours-long sessions before needing re-charging. Although I would have liked to see some type of low-battery indicator. The combination of small and light, good battery life as well as durability (they are IPX7 waterproof rated, although I've not put that to the test), means you can take them practically anywhere. Beach days, camping, hiking etc. I clip one to my golf bag for most days on the course.Bluetooth pairing with a source, as well as pairing with the 2nd speaker for stereo operation is straightforward, per the included instructions. I marked a "1" and "2" on each speaker to make this even easier. 1 being the primary speaker that is always paired to the source, 2 is the speaker paired to the primary for stereo operation.Overall I think the Braven BRV-MINI's are best used as portable speakers away from home. And for that purpose I can recommend them. I would consider other options if you are looking for a higher quality, more permanent home / backyard solution.

Excellent sound quality and easily fills the room with sound. Long battery life and connects easily to Bluetooth. Well with the price.

This speaker is awesome. It is about the size of a soda can, but brings big sound and sound quality on our family adventures. We've taken it to the beach (a lot) and the mountains, and it's still looking good. We haven't dunked it in the lake yet, but it's been wet and sandy without problem. I love that it charges quickly, too. Overall, very happy with the purchase and would recommend to anyone. You don't need to spend the $100+ on the JBL to get a nice outdoor speaker.

I love the size, the sound, the quality and the price of this item. It connected to the blue tooth almost immediately. I would recommend this product.

I amazed at the sound quality and volume that this little speaker has! What a tiny power house! I absolutely love it. Compact but heavy enough to feel the quality of the speaker. Easy setup and no crackling at all!

Awesome little speaker but the mic doesn’t work if you try to pick up calls while using it. Everyone tells me I’m too far away when I’m right next to it. Other than that, the sound is awesome!

Hi to all. I have been using my braven mini speaker a little lately, and here are my thoughts. I've got a lot of different bluetooth speakers from small to large size. This speaker is good at what it does. It connects to my iPhone with no issues. Another reviewer said the sound of this speaker was okay, and I'd have to agree with him. The volume of this speaker is actually impressive especially for the size, and I could easily carry it around in one hand. However, while loud, the sound I'd call average at best. It could do with a little bit more bass. I could think of say the anker soundcore mini2 which is 6 watts of power instead of this speakers 5 watts. The soundcore mini2 speaker actually has much better bass then this braven mini. However, what I'm finding this speaker is actually very good at in my opinion, is listening to audio books. I can with no trouble listen to books on my bard mobile app, or voice dream reader, and my audio books sound quite good. I used some amazon rewards points, so I was able to pick up the braven mini for only about $10 which was worth it in my opinion.

It's type c, water proof and had no issues. I originally bought it as a gift for someone else and they insisted they didn't need it. I already had a $200 jbl speaker as well and didn't NEED it. but honestly of I could go back in time, I would've spent my money on this speaker because it did what I needed and more, smaller and equal if not better sound quality too!Small detail I adored was a semi wood grain texture. I still remember it. Honestly if my JBL breaks I'm buying this speaker in a heartbeat.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Me habían obsequiado una bocina anteriormente por lo que sé que tipo de desempeño tiene, cuando vi la disponibilidad y precio de ésta decidí aprovechar y comprar pero después de 9 días de espera, lamentablemente la bocina inmediatamente de recibirla e intentar encenderla, no respondió, se dejó cargando por 2 horas y lo que paso fue que al presionar el botón de encendido, se quedaba el LED rojo encendido y después de un rato se apagaba, conecte mediante el Jack 3.5 y solo se escuchaba la música cuando mantenía presionado el botón de encendido, al soltarlo se dejaba de escuchar o cuando se dejaba de escuchar y un LED rojo permanecía encendido unos momentos. Sin tener conectado el Jack y hacer la misma prueba para ver si encendía, se escuchaba un ligero "tronido" y la luz LED roja permanecía encendida y después de un momento se apagaba. Por ello tuve que devolver el producto. Son muy buenas bocinas pero en esta ocasión no tuve suerte con el artículo.Realicé la devolución y la atención fue de manera rápida, el nuevo envío se realizó en la mitad del tiempo que el primero y se encontraba mejor embalado. El funcionamiento como esperaba, trabaja excelente, se conecta de inmediato al emparejar con otra bocina y su sonido es muy bueno. Un artículo muy práctico, fácil de cargar, fácil de transportar y en experiencia propia resistente a caídas y agua. Excelente producto.

No quiero hablar mal del producto (y por eso doy una calificación neutra) porque estoy consciente que los defectos en productos electronicos es algo comun por mas prestigio que tenga la marca, en esta ocasión recibí un producto que lo logré que encendiera luego de hablarlo cargado toda una tarde y noche, solo encendía el led rojo y por momentos es escuchaba el sonido de encendido pero se apagaba inmediatamente, aun asi, intenté incluso con la entrada auxiliar para descartar algun detalle con el bluetooth pero al final mi conclusión es que la bocina no encendía. Fuera de eso el producto se siente de muy buena calidad y otras reseñas hablan muy bien de el, luego de concluir mi devolución estaré haciendo la compra por el mismo producto esperando que no me toque un producto defectuoso, de momento no tengo porque pensar que el producto sea "Refurbish" y espero no equivocarme, de ser asi deberian especificarlo. BTW, es la primer vez que regreso un producto en Amazon.

Se escucha igual que la JBL GO 2, pero cuesta más. No creo que valga la diferencia de precio, deberían estar más baratas.

Excelente calidad en cuanto al material, se ve resistente, con el agua solo he salpicado la bocina poco no la he sumergido no nada pero he tenido buenos resultados.Audio- se escucha mejor que una Alexa mini, tiene muy buen sonido, no es alta calidad como una Bose pero realmente para su precio y tamaño es excelente.Batería- muy buena aguanta mucho, con volumen normal, entre mas alto tengas el volumen menos aguanta o más energía ocupa, realmente aguanta varias horas, su tiempo de recarga es poco 40 mins a 1 hr son suficientes para cargarse toda la batería y disfrutas más horas

Es la 2a que compro, nos gusto mucho.Es pequeña y fácil de transportar, pero el tamaño no impide que suene súper bien. La puedes poner en áreas abiertas ( albercas, etc) y el sonido es suficiente. La calidad de sonido nos sorprendió. Definitivamente la recomiendo. Mis hijos la usan en la regadera y la calidad de sonido es muy buena.
