JUST WHAT WE WANTED!
This Garmin replaces our older Nuvi and is a great little GPS. We got the wider screen and it has been a big help. It has lots of new upgrades and is pretty easy to use. The graphics are bold and most helpful. This is a great help to us. We both have GPS units in our cars, but this is great to use and allows us to have our in-car screens free for other uses. Looking for a good GPS? Give this a try.

A Nice Replacement for my 65LM
I just received the 67LM as my wife liked my 65LM so much, I gave it to her.I received the unit with a dead Battery but the Unit Charged right up and it's holding the Charge. It took about 15 Minutes to update the Software and Maps ( as opposed to the 65LM which took about a Hour and a Half ).I put the 67LM on a 200 mile test run and this is what I found.Satellite Acquisition is fast, under 10 Seconds, Route Calculations/ Recalculations is fast.So far, the Maps are pretty accurate and most of the "Up Ahead"/ Foursquare features. The Turn by Turn/ Garmin Real Directions are bang on as is the Lane assist and Junction View. The Destinations were spot on but a couple of the routings were not what I would have picked, but I had three options, Fast, Shortest or my way and the Unit would just recalculate. If I didn't know the area, the Unit would have got me there anyway. The 67 did not show one road and that was a Major Limited Access Bypass around Goldsboro NC but it's only partially open and is slated for completion by Memorial Day 2016.I like that you can set waypoints/stopping points and Navigate to them on the fly.I didn't have any problems with glare (except when the Sun reflected directly into your eyes and just a minor adjustment will remove the glare) or wearing Polarized Sun Glasses. You can set the right side of the screen to show Count Down Miles and Count Down Time to Destination and Compass Direction when using Trip Data. The Unit was easy to set up and the Menus were easy to navigate. The 67LM pretty much mirrors the 65LM but I needed the Direct Access and I needed the detail at the Airports as I fly a lot to different Airports to work on Company Aircraft.Last thing, 6" screen coupled to the Garmin Beanbag Mount is a great combo in my slightly oversize Compact Sedan that I drive. I keep the Suction Mount in the car as a Backup.Just to recap:Pros- 6" Screen- Accurate Maps- Direct Access- Look Ahead/ Foursquare- Lane Assist- Junction View- Garmin Real Directions- Easy Setup- Easy Menu Navigation- Fast Satellite Acquisition- Life Time MapsCons- Sometimes not the best possible routes but not a deal breaker for meAll in All, this is a good, (basic+) GPS System and it will get you to your destination. If you don't need the Direct access, Foursquare or Garmin Real Directions, save a few sheckles and buy a 65LM or if you want it all, buy a 26XX/ 27XX or one of the New Drive/Smart Units. For me the 67 works perfect.I highly Recommend the Garmin nuvi 67LM

When it's good it's very good, when it's bad it's awful
I am actually shocked at how good this GPS is -- most of the time. It very accurately tells me how fast I'm going. How the heck does it do that? It also knows if I am on a road, or just next to the road -- pretty good if you ask me. It also can tell me how to get to places very well; UNLESS the map is not accurate, then it totally sucks. There is a road near me which is bisected by a stream and no way to cross it, yet the NUVI 67 always tells me to take that road to go to town. It can't find Home Depot without taking me on a Goldilocks trip first. Same with Costco. Same with my home address. So, it actually depends on the area that you drive in; if it has good maps, it works fabulously, if it doesn't, it is terrible (and yes, I keep updating the maps, which takes over 4 hours on my crappy internet connection; they just don't update my area -- EVER).

Good GPS
So far, I like it. I know it is the age of high tech and all but I would have preferred an actual physical instruction manual rather than having to pull one up on a computer. This is not convenient for trying to learn things or look things up in the car. The maps are very basic but understandable and readable. However, if you don't know how to spell the name of the town (such as Pawhuska, OK) you're out of luck. And, so far, I can't figure out how to get directions to a town--you have to have a specific address AND know how to spell the street names. When you do have an address or the correct spelling of a place, the directions are clear and easy to follow. I wanted this because I didn't have a smart phone (not everyone can afford one, believe it or not) and I hate getting lost. I expected more from this Garmin, though it was a low end price. I got a gift card for my birthday and spent it on this. I guess it is true that you get what you pay for and this low end piece is not the best.

Great GPS for the Price!!!
Really is an excellent and 1st class GPS. Loved it. Used it on a 3 day business trip to a large city that I have never driven in or to. Got me around with pinpoint accuracy. Four Square was awesome in finding nearby attractions, stores, and restaurants. Easy to use and operate. Missed a turn off and with in seconds it had re routed me getting me back on track. Used it several times since then in different towns and cities with the same results. Large screen makes it easy to read. The only drawback I have with the unit is in bright sunlight the screen is a little hard to see. Especially if you have on white clothing or the interior of your vehicle is a light color then it reflects off the screen. But it was not so bad that I could not make out the info or map.Definitely Recommend the Garmin 67LM.

Very good device. My husband is actually the one who uses it. He drives a propane delivery truck for a living and needs to go to many places, many often times off the beaten path. He has multiple addresses he puts into the unit at a time. This unit is quick to load addresses and is very efficient at getting you to where you got to go. We have purchased and used many GPS systems over the years and even recently returned 2 before finally finding this one on Amazon. Very happy with it.
