An entertaining read for sure
It took me a while to actually warm up to this book, and from that point on it was pretty much ups and downs for me. I liked some part of the book, and some parts I really didn't care for. I found this book shared the same problem I had with most New Adult genre I've read. The dialogs were almost full of profanity, and they aren't particular creative either, they were just full of really ugly words. I guess I get the desire to cursing every now and then, especially when your emotions are running high. Well that was the thing, emotions ran intense in this book. Everyone in the book was always shouting and screaming at each other. As well as hitting, and throwing things at each other. This book was just so full of personal violence, and I wasn't really sure what to think of it. I just didn't get it, was I reading a book or listening to a really foul, violence rap song?I think I would've like the book better if the plot was little more clear, because it was just chaos after chaos. I thought about all of the drama and chaos, and how they took way any chance to actually get to know the characters. So, the Slater brothers were hot, well, that was really the only impression I had throughout the book.I don't dislike nor did I like Bronagh, I thought she had issues, so many issues. Which I didn't think the book really explored with them. We learned she had issue with letting people in, due to her parents die at a young age, and that was really all the book talked about. In the end, I couldn't really connected with her. I thought she was a trouble character, had a really hot temper and foul mouth. Supposedly she was a straightforward girl, but really, I just thought she had no filter what so ever.I thought the "Kissing Booth" part in the book was so strange. I honestly was weird out by the whole situation. And given what I understand about Bronagh, I was quite surprised by how she actually agreed to do it. And why the heck was there a “Kissing Booth” traditional, where male students paid 2 euro to pick a girl of the booth and kiss them mouth to mouth? In this case, it turned out to be a full on making-out while in school!I found the story plot was not strong, and the majority of the book was just dramas after dramas. There were tons of moments I found situations contradicted. From what I understood, the Slater brothers would never hit a women, however, Nico had no trouble putting his hands all over Brought, which was basically sexual harassment. The more I read, the more I was disturbed by how the MCs started their relationship, honestly it made little sense to me. How can she be so annoyed with him, to the point where they were constantly telling each other they hated each other. And the next thing you know, she thought she had feelings for him, and that was that.I also found it odd that when Brought came home after taking a beating from her classmate, where her sister reacted in threaten to kill the person. But when Boughan claimed it was a someone she didn’t know, her sister immediately dropped the topic, she made no attempt to contact the police nor did she take her injured sister to the hospital. I found the sequences very troubling, and extremely odd. I really didn’t like Boughna's sister, she was my least like character from the book. I thought she was an awful guardian, and a really poor role model to her sister. She thought to use violence as the answer for all of her problem. Which may explain why Boughan was the way she was. When the story was nearly at the end, I thought the huge “plot twist" just came out of nowhere. And I have to said, how it happened and how it ended were neither good, nor bad. Just meh.Overall, this was an entertaining read for sure, mainly because all the dramas. The story plot was alright, nothing exciting, and the characters were just okay too. Be prepare with no actual conversations, and yelling, screaming matches with lot of profanity. Also, violence is the answer for everything.Happy Reading!! XO

I b***** loved it!!! I can't wait for the next one ;)
DOMINIC IS STUNNING!!! I LOVED EVERY WORD! Dominic is what life is all about. Lee got it right. She got every emotion right. The passion flowed from every page and captivated me like never before. Hell, while I was growing up there used to be fights after school each and every day. Lee gave me back a piece of my childhood.I read a review and thought - My word, Bronagh must be killing Dominic at stages and this is not the case. I swear a man tells me my bottom is fat and I will BS him, too. Half the time there was playful bantering going on between them that will make you laugh out loud. This book is filled to the brim with characters that will crawl so deep into your heart, you start praying a quarter into the book that Lee is already nearly done with the next, and you hope to God there will be many more.I laughed. I hated. I cringed. I oohed and aahed. Lee had me from the first word and I was sitting with tissues at the end, feeling sad for a specific Slater brother. I want him back soon, Lee!!!This wasn’t your normal love story where Dominic and Bronagh had an insta love for each other – oh hell no! Bronagh didn’t want anyone close to her, for fear that she might lose them. And Dominic – well, what Dominic wants, Dominic gets, but the only attention he could get from Bronagh was when he drove her mental. There is a fine line between love and hate.Let’s get this straight. A preview mentions men hitting women and it being acceptable – this isn’t true. Read the book and see for yourself how that situation turns out…..Five stars aren't enough. A zillion kick-ass stars for Lee. I love your book, babe! Thank you for taking me on a journey of a life time. Hurry up with Alec ;)"A few times I just stopped to look around at the faces of the people who had all done what I thought was impossible; they had set up camp in my heart and wouldn't leave no matter what. It was the best feeling in the world."It is the best feeling in the world when you read a book and see a character grow, you see her grow from being a lonely girl to having a family, having it all. Not many people have that nowadays. It was a heartwarming story, about loyalty, family, and trust. This is a shoutout to the one stars – You are allowed to read a snippet of every book before YOU choose to buy it. YOU make that choice. At least have the decency to not verbally attack the author. If you didn’t like the book you can just say it wasn’t to your liking, but to say someone’s work is #$#@ (I had to censor myself there), is downright rude. Everybody has different taste that is what makes this world so exciting – respect other people and at least have some decency to not attack the author. Now with that said, I would recommend this book. I will read it again and again. It’s in my top 5.Did I mention I loved it? Lee get a move on!!!

Brilliant
Pay attention to the warning before you read this book.I have read this book and the whole series more than once. And if you like hard, dirty talking alpha men that are the epitome of bad boys then this book in fact the whole series will not disappoint. This is more of a new adult book than the rest as Bronagh and Dominic are still in high school. Bronagh is a lot closed off to emotions since her parents died when she was a young child and has been the sole responsibility of her older sister Branna since then. Branna is Bronagh’s rock and the only person she has ever let close to her, she chooses to have no friends and stays under the radar at school….. That is until Dominic Slater arrives as an exchange student with his twin brother Damien. He sees Bronagh and he wants her and if there is one thing that these Slater boys are used to its getting what they want when they want it but Dominic is on for a shock when he meets Bronagh she is no push over and she’s not interested in anything that he has to offer.Dominic is determined to make Bronagh his and she has no say in it, he has never been told before and even though he has this time doesn’t mean that he will accept it. He will wear her down and carry on fighting to keep his family safe. Bronagh is a challenge that he relishes and one that he intends to have. Although he and his brothers have secrets that could blow Bronagh’s world apart. Can they be together and not kill each other?????This book is filled with love, drama, deception, laughter and tears and you will love every minute of it. So take a chance and read these books you will not be disappointed trust me I’ve read them 4 times.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME READING THIS BOOK!
There is so much wrong with this piece of writing, mainly the awful messages in it about relationships for any woman, but particularly younger female readers (I wouldn't want my teenage daughter anywhere near the messages given here), but also any male readers who might pick it up about how they should behave towards others. Sexual assault is used to 'seduce' the protagonist, violent behaviour towards each other binds them and keeps them together, and they are only 18 to boot. Second to this is the dreadful writing! The descriptions (where the writer bothers with them) are laboured, the plot line is forced and the whole thing is wildly unbelievable. I only forced myself to the end to be able to leave a review warning others not to waste their time. Summary: Worst piece of writing EVER and damaging to women.

Funny in parts but has issues. Can be very foul mouthed, immature and melodramatic
I struggled with rating this because I did really enjoy bits of this story, it was funny in places but it was also horrible and unbelievable in others. The immaturity of the characters made me laugh at times but then recoil and cringe at other times. I don't like teenage characters in books in general, I prefer a more mature book, with mature characters but I actually found myself enjoying some of the school based scenes and some of the teenage behaviour was funny. However, this does get annoyingly unbelievable and repetitive. The over the top foul language and violence from the female character's was disgusting and not appealing to read and it became a stupidly repetitive theme throughout the book. The heated scenes with Dominic and Bronagh were kinda hot but it's just not believable that an 18 year old would be so sexual, sensual, dominant or mature. Talking about wanting to be together forever, get married and have babies, seriously? He was her first and she had only just kissed a boy for the first time weeks before!Although I hated the age of the characters, the extreme immaturity and the melodramatic fighting and over the top behaviour, I enjoyed some of the story. It was an easy read and I finished it in one session without the need to put it down. So I am going to read the next book in this series. I just hope that it is a bit more believable, and a lot less immature and dramatic.

Banter- R- us
I absolutely loved the banter in this story. What started out as a young bully romance, turned into one helluva good read.Around 65% through is where things really get interesting, but Regardless of that I couldn't put it down. I love Dominic, and even though Bronagh had her reasons for being closed off from people she finally grew up and started to let people in. So she grew on me.I'm obsessed with the Slater's lads, and something tells me I'm in a ride when it comes to the rest of then. Each one of them intrigues me something rotten🔥🔥 5 stars from me easily

Great Craic!
Well, I have finally popped my Slater Brothers cherry, and I have to admit that I will definitely be enough of a slut to make sure that I get my hands on them all, Alec, Ryder, Kane, Damien, mmm yes please!Love Bronagh. Gubby, sweet, stubborn, sassy, she's the epitome of Irish girl! And Dominic, well Nico is out there in a class of his own, a knight in tainted armour.I don't want to give anything of the story away, so I'll avoid that part and say that I am thoroughly impressed with LA Casey's writing. Her ability to create funny, strong and very relatable characters makes sure that I will be picking up another book of hers again in the very near future. Being Irish myself, I did have a little giggle at seeing 'Dunne Stores' immortalised in print, and completely enjoyed the full colour imagery that she was able to put into my head for every one of them.If you don't like swearing, sod the book, just never come to Ireland, because true to the book, we use F's and C's like they were punctuation, we don't suffer fools, and (probably red head blood somewhere in the Irish genes) we're all just that little bit stubborn ;)Cracking read, from a cracking author!
