Dell Inspiron 13Z 14Z 14R 15R 15Z AC Laptop Notebook Charger Adapter

This wasn't the same *exact* charger as the one I had originally received with my dell laptop about a year ago, but it had the same specs, affordable, and I had a desperate need for a new charger so. One great thing about this was I received it a couple days early than expected! (Delta[?] was my shipper). The first time I plugged it into the wall and my laptop (which was like, 4% from being dead) the wide flat part got EXTREMELY hot to the point of me being worried, and a subtle whirring noise was coming from it that my last charge never did. It took it a long time to finally get my inspiron back to 100% but after that initial plug in, I've had absolutely no problems with this adapter. I've had it for almost two months now and it hasn't been giving me any issues, heat or otherwise, and it's been holding up to daily wear and tear.

Price is right, This is exactly the same unit that came with our Dell Inspiron 15R. The one that came with the computer didn't last long due to the power cord breaking internally (no cuts or breaks obvious from the outside of the cord). The unit does what its designed to do and so can only be differentiated by cost. This cord cost well below half what it would have through Dell or at a computer store so that's the basis for the 5 rating, I can't rate longevity yet, but its bound to be better than the original equipment.

Powers my Dell laptop but does not charge a new battery. Blinking light on laptop indicates the power supply is not apprived by Dell "An unauthenticated or unsupported non-Dell AC adapter is attached to your laptop". Guess I willmeed to get the power source from Dell.

Excellent charger for a great price. I actually own the genuine one from Dell as well and can't tell the difference between the two. Charges quickly and doesn't get overly warm to the touch. Bought as a travel charger so I could leave the other on my desk at home. It serves its purpose well.

worked great for my computer, charged my battery enabled me to use my computer w/o cord.

Bought this as an extra so I wouldn't have to haul a power cord between home and the office. It's identical to the cord originally supplied with the laptop. I've had no problems with it. I like the little light on the end, which reminds me that it's plugged in.

Exactly the right charger for my computer, and arrived very quickly. I just wish the right charger were more robust... And didn't look like a glowing cat toy.

Cargador original Dell, buen reemplazo para mi computadora ya que tuve que adquirir uno nuevo debido a que el anterior me lo robaron.Cumple su función como es de esperarse y el precio me pareció excelente al el momento de adquirirlo ($450).Si lo recomiendo.
