I knew STRANDS was arriving today so I washed and flat ironed my hair and waited. When it arrived I had watched enough YouTube videos to know how and where to apply on my thinning hair that was almost bald in certain spots around the crown. I found Strand to be easy to use and effective. I ordered the wrong color, but will use it up and then order a different color that better matches my hair. The product seems to last a long time, but I don't use a lot of it because I don't have that much hair loss. It does not appear to discourage hair growth, and it really makes a positive difference in my appearance. I have had no problem with it getting on my face, my hands or clothes after application. I recommend it for anyone who needs a quick cover-up because of thinning hair. If you need a lot of product, it could become expensive, but for me, it is not a material cost considering how long the container lasts.

I'm not a novice user of hair fibers. When my hair was red, I was using a different product, but they don't make gray. I decided to give this a chance, and it's fantastic. It blends well with my salt/pepper hair, and I now use it daily. I'll be purchasing again.

I previously used a different product so had experience with this type of item. I found I needed to use a lot of the product to cover my thinning spots. But it doesn't rub off easily and lasts once you get enough to cover. The color was perfect but other brands have thicker fiber that need much less to cover. I was really excited about the reviews on this. I have severe anemia and a thyroid disorder that has caused me a great deal of hair loss. So my expectations were high. Verdict: It's not too bad, but no miracle. There is a bit of a learning curve in learning how to use it and distribute it evenly. I do think it helps my hair look and feel thicker. In a lot of ways it feels like a dry shampoo (and I wish it was in a spray form - would be easier). One thing I was pleased, and surprised, about was it didn't seem to rub off on any clothing or even my pillows at night (but then again I am not using a whole lot until I can get the consistency a bit more even). Just for a guideline: I have thin and fine hair, but not any clear bald patches.

I purchased this for my husband, after his barber added some "synthetic hair" along the front of his hairline after a cut.
