Fall in love with this emotional New York Times bestselling romance between two tortured souls who find their chance at happiness in the most unexpected way. Named one of the "Top Romance Novels of All Time" by Goodreads! A New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal bestseller! I wanted to lose myself in the small town of Pelion, Maine. To forget everything I had left behind. The sound of rain. The blood. The coldness of a gun against my skin. For six months, each breath has been a reminder that I survived -- and my dad didn't. I'm almost safe again. But the moment I meet Archer Hale, my entire world tilts on its axis . . . and never rights itself again.Until I trespass into his strange, silent, and isolated world, Archer communicates with no one. Yet in his whiskey-colored eyes, something intangible happens between us. There's so much more to him than just his beauty, his presence, or the ways his hands communicate with me. On me. But this town is mired in secrets and betrayals, and Archer is the explosive center of it all.So much passion. And so much hurt. But it's only in Archer's silence that we might just find what we need to heal . . . and live.Includes an exclusive extended epilogue from Archer's POV! Review: Best decision ever!! - Before entering into their world, I knew what was ahead. I knew for sure I was going to lose my heart, and I did. You know, when some people's stories feel like a fairy tale and like they were made for each other and whatever the universe throws into their way, eventually they're going to meet. And did they meet? Yes, they did, with their heart on their palms. It was a magical experience watching them fall in love and heal each other. The pain they endured has my heart wrenching for them. The compassion the author has shown through character has my heart. Who says great love stories need a voice? Even the silence can't be silent enough. The story delineates love, trauma, and healing. Archer and Bree navigate through each other's broken parts and beautifully weave out a crochet of love🧶❣️👩❤️👨. I adore the nonverbal communication part where one understands without any verbatim, and the author has beseechingly imprinted it throughout the book🍂❤️. This was one of the books which have made their place in my heart, and I'm going to cherish the memory of blushing, giggling, and sobbing with them🥹🥰🫶. Review: Must try!! - The paper quality and binding quality is very good! The storyline was also very good. Character development over time is first class!! Just love it.

I need to find more books like this.
Do you ever get that feeling where you pick up a book and you just know it is gold? Archer's voice was that for me. From the first moment like reading the blurb, I just knew. The big scares were actually heart-stoppingly scary, unlike other books where u just know that nothing bad is gonna happen. Not this story, like when bree thought her attacker had finally found her but it was only a trap set by uncle nate or when archer didn't get her reply even after continuous texts or when archer got shot as if he'd died on the spot, I actually believed those scares. But other than that, everything else felt right and good and beautiful. Some moments felt like they could've been better, more convincing, more artful, but nothing is perfect so... And I actually liked the female lead this time. Bree was perfectly written, Archer too. And that is an anomaly in itself cause, I can count in one hand the books where I've loved both the plot and the characters. I'm satisfied and happy and I couldn't ask for more. So worth it!

wasnt a favourite personally but i would def recommend it
3.75 ⭐️, archer is the cutest boy. they (bree and archer) are so pure and they both deserved so much better, especially archer. want to wrap them in my care and never let go. but are we going to talk about the magic my boy archer has? boy had sex with bree once and bree's PTSD said: "purrrrrr imma out of bere🤪🤘🏻" needed to add this cuz it makes no sense for your mental health problems to just vanish when you’re in love and i don’t like it when that happens in books some beautiful/cute quotes: "She asked me the sign for love and I spelled out your name. So now she's going to go around saying, 'I Bree you?' she asked, smiling softly. I nodded. Yeah. I stand by my logic though. I think love is a concept, and each person has an individual word for what sums it up for them. My word for love is Bree." Archer: Lol, in my case it should actually be los (laugh out silently). Me: :D You being funny? :D Archer: Yes. "What are your dreams, Archer? I whispered, wanting to know what was in his heart. I didn't know enough to dream you, Bree, but somehow you came true anyway. How did that happen?" "How'd you get so brilliant? I was already brilliant. I just needed some world experience. I needed Thor. You being funny? I grinned back at her, No, I never joke about Thor." "What are you doing here? I asked. You don't like thunderstorms, he answered. I tilted my head, confused. You walked a mile in the rain because I don't like thunderstorms? He hesitated for a second, looking away, frowning slightly. Then he looked back at me and said simply, yes."

The book came in a good condition it was a little dirty tho but I just cleaned it. The plot was sooo good and I really loved the characters. I highly recommend reading the book if you’re looking for a romance book. I’m not sure if the book contains sensitive topics but you can check the content warning

Wow! Wow! Wow!
I've typed and retyped this review four times and still can't find the words to express how this story touched me. Bree and Archer's story is so beautifully and thoughtfully written. I couldn't put it down and finished it in less than a day. This is the first Mia Sheridan book I have read and will be looking for more immediately. I fell in love with Pelion and every single character added to the story in important ways. Nothing was forced, or rushed, or dragged out. Everything was perfect. I'm going to say this is my number one read for 2020 and everyone should read it. Love love love!

5+ Come back to me Stars! Absolute perfection. Tragic, beautiful and a story that came to life.
When Bree shows up in the Pelion, Maine it was supposed to be just a stop on her ‘road trip of recovery.’ Escaping the tragedy was her way of trying to outrun the nightmares, finding Archer Hale ended up giving her peace that she thought had escaped her. Archer Hale was just seven years old when he lost everything including his voice. Now a grown man, living in complete isolation in a town that his bloodline founded. A moment of clumsiness brings a little bit of noise to his silent world as he meets Bree. Bree isn’t able to let go of the curiosity, after a few inquiries in town Bree learns that Archer has always just been tucked away in the shadows of the town. But when she stumbles upon an open gate that leads her to him, she can’t seem to stay away. With her father being hearing impaired, she is able to sign, giving Archer a voice for the first time in years. And in the silence she falls for a man that no one paid any attention to. The man that was once a broken boy that was let down by an entire town. Archer isn’t equipped to be social. He’s locked himself away and Bree is slowly coaxing him out little by little. He’s had to live his life and his experiences without the ability to ever really understand them. Finding Bree attractive, understanding his reaction to her and understanding that she was reacting the same way... that moment was beautifully awkward and was just a wee bit heartbreaking; realizing that something as simple as being able to experience that was lost to him until that moment. As Bree attempts to bring him out into the public, to start living again he comes face to face with the ugliness of some people. There was zero redemption for Travis, for me. That club scene and the little comments here and there... did me in. My heart was breaking in these moments for Bree, but most of all for Archer because no matter how old he was, part of him was still that seven year old little boy and his pain kept him from knowing anything beyond that. Bree didn’t just wake something in this beautiful man, she brought life to him. Her love gave him strength, but he needed more. He needed to find his own strength and his own worthiness, if he was ever going to be able to give Bree an ounce of what she gave him, he had to find a way to do that. Because for the first time he had a reason to risk suffering the possibility of loving someone and the pain that it would cause if he ever lost it. Archer’s Voice was a fantastically written love story. It was beautifully tragic and was one of those stories that cuts you deep. Beyond just how well written this was, it moved you. It was a book you felt more so than you read, and it was not one that just let your emotions simmer, you boiled over. Whether it was moments when your heart was so full it could burst or those moments when you felt like someone had just torn your heart out of your chest. You. Felt. It. There are times when you stumble across a book and the way the author is able to tell their story is all encompassing, you don’t just read it, you breathe it... it’s like a movie is playing in your head, this is that kind of book. It’s one that carries a message and has the ability to make you look twice at something you might not have given a second glance to the day before. The way these two were both so broken, but yet wanted nothing more than to fix each other – even when they weren’t fully able to fix themselves. Sacrifice, love and beyond everything else, just seeing the other person and giving them a sense of worth – a feeling that they matter, even if it is just to that other person. Mia Sheridan did an exceptional job showcasing these characters and creating a story that flowed perfectly and was so much bigger than just what she created on these pages. She gave life to this book and as a reader there is no greater gift an author can give than giving you a piece of themselves that extends so far beyond typed words. After this experience, I can’t wait to read the other titles in this series and to let her be my guide on this journey.

An EPIC love story!!
"There has only ever been you. There. Will. Only. Ever. Be. You." A breathtakingly beautiful story of healing, trust, loyalty and deep love. ARCHER'S VOICE took me on a unique journey of self preservation, selfless love, and healing. My heart cried for both Archer and Bree's horrifying pasts, but through their love and devotion, these two broken souls began to heal. Archer Hale....a hero that will forever have my heart. This silent, beautiful, broken man had a heart of gold but was misunderstood by everyone around him. Archer was sweet, shy, honest, loyal and protective. But oh, the injustice this man went through since he was 7 years old was cruel and heartbreaking. Archer's past slowly unfolds in a series of flashbacks that left me sick to my stomach. I wanted to wrap my arms around him and take away all the pain and loneliness he endured. I wanted to undo everything evil and painful in his life. Bree Prescott was beautiful on the inside and out; a genuinely sweet, caring and gentle heroine that I would have been honoured to be friends with. She understood Archer on so many levels and her patience and determination to know Archer was commendable. Bree is also marred by a single event in her past that is haunting her. It is with Archer that she finds a way to overcome her fears. The connection between Archer and Bree was electrifying and intense. The attraction and pull was palpable right from their very first encounter, but Ms. Sheridan perfectly paces the story as we see the relationship between Archer and Bree develop and grow. The build up towards their first time together (Archer's first time ever) was amazing and when it finally happened, it was absolutely beautiful and tender. I loved that this couple had no misunderstandings and unnecessary dramas. Their decisions, whether made together or on their own, always made sense to me. Ms. Sheridan's narrative was spellbinding and kept me riveted to the book right from the very start. I felt so much love for Archer and Bree, and wanted desperately for them to have their HEA. The epilogue left me speechless and my heart was bursting to the brim with so much love. This is a tale of EPIC proportion and will forever stay in my heart.
