Poly (Plantronics + Polycom) Voyager Legend Portable Charge Case - Headset Case Charger, black

Reliable and works great with cell phone calls and teams meetings on my computer via blue tooth.Battery life more than adequate - has never let me down. Great case - smart design!Unit is Comfortable to wear.Why I really appreciate, is it will work over several phones at the same time. I can take calls on several different cell phones that are paired, the switch over is instantaneous.

Important Notes: I originally did not purchase this with my Plantronics headset, thinking I wouldn't need it. I was wrong. This case is wonderful and I highly suggest getting it if you plan to use your headset frequently at all, or travel with it. Entirely flawed, defective or deceitful.Time Owned: 3 MonthsItem Usage: Almost daily.--The Good:(The positive qualities of the item)-This fits the plantronics headset perfectly, even with a magnetic snap in.-The case can be plugged directly in the wall and be used as a charging 'dock' for the headset when not in use (pass through charging works).-The case is sturdy and can be tossed in a travel bag without much worry, also automatically charges the headset when it's placed in there and has blue status lights (that turn off after some time) to indicate connection, etc.-Very convenient for travel or even longer days of use.The Bad:(The qualities that may be negatives or unexpected for some)-The case is a bit pricey, when combined with the original cost of the headset. Really feels like an accessory that should come with it.-Could have a bigger battery for the size of the case.--Final Recommendation: Buy-If you're getting and plan to use a plantronics headset, you're likely going to want to get this case. It's extremely durable (for an electronic accessory), fits the headset like a glove and keeps it all charged up. It's a bit pricey but well worth the utility in my opinion.

I purchased this case about 3 weeks ago. The charger charges the Voyager Legend headset pretty quickly. I would estimate that it charges the headset from 2 hours of remaining charge to a full 7 hours of remaining charge in an hour or slightly less. The case is made of plastic and has 2 indicator lights. One shows the level of charge of the case and the other shows the level of charge of the headset. The case protects the headset while it charges.The front cover of the case is made of shaded plastic that is fairly transparent. My only concern is that the front cover will get scratched while it is in your pocket or a travel bag. After 3 weeks it has not proved to be an issue. Even if it did get scratched, this would only be a small cosmetic issue. The case is very durable as far as protecting the headset is concerned. The only reason I am mentioning this is because I have a Plantrontics 975 headset that comes with a charging case that has a leather/leather-like exterior in contrast to this case.One of the most important things to me is the ease of placing the headset into the charging case. The magnetic charging portion of the headset is attracted to and quickly connects to the charger portion of the case. While some people have complained in the reviews of the headset about the change of connectors from the micro usb in the prior headset (the Voyager Pro) to the magnetic connector in the Voyager Legend, I have a different opinion. I had 2 Voyager Pro headsets that became unusable after less than a year due to a problem with the charging connector in the headset. After a while I would plug the charging cord into the headset and the unit would just fail to charge and the charging light would not go on. The change in the connector from the Voyager Pro to the Voyager Legend may be a result of this type of problem. This Voyager Legend case always connects without a problem. I enjoy the ability to quickly charge the headset while out of the house and office and the protection that the case provides. I highly recommend this case.
