I needed a set of incandescent lights to put around a palm tree for winter protection. Didn’t care about color as they are covered with a cloth to trap heat. These would well as they generate enough heat but do not burn the plant. This ponytail palm was my mom’s and is over 40 years old became too large to repot or move in and out….i live well north of Florida so have to protect from freezing in winter. These lights would work well for Halloween decorations as well there is a nice orange glow and a nice hook on each bulb for attaching. They are string to string so adding additional strings would be easy. Recommend

So I bought 8 strands of these. I’ll start with the pros: They’re pretty lights and cheap.That being said most had failed bulbs out of the box (they come with 2 spares. Also had one strands fuse pop (didn’t strings more than 3 strands and they don’t come with an extra fuse.I’ve had these up just under 2 weeks and the bulbs are going out pretty steadily, 1 strand alone has 14 out!I’m going to use the extra strand with the blown fuse to patch up the best I can to get through the season but hands down the worst holiday lighting product I’ve ever laid hands on.I understand you get what you pay for but geez, these lights are going to keep me busy. Hopefully buying some replacement bulbs from a different brand will help next year.

I usually don't like most newer Christmas bulbs because they don't seem as bright as the ones from the 1970s when I was a kid. But these ones are actually nice and bright, I have a White tree and they light it up really nice. They do put off a little heat, but not so hot you can't touch them even after being on all day. I bought 2 strands of them & every light works just fine & they come with 2 extra bulbs for each strand of 25 bulbs. Also, if you unscrew one, the rest stay on and the connection to connect to another strand of 25 is very secure & has a sleeve that screws over the connection so it can't come unplugged. Well worth the money.

Last minute Halloween decorations were needed. These lights were perfect.

... like could burn a toddler's hand kinda hot. I love the look of old xmas lights, and they were well packaged, have a great glow to them, and even though they're new they look old, but I would NOT want them near or on anything even remotely flammable. Mine are around a window so we should be ok.

Great purchase

The lights are pretty. When I plugged them in some of the bulbs were burt out so I was upset but then I realized that if you turn them then will turn on. But the lights are VERY HOT! I bought them to take pictures of the kids with lights but they were way too hot, the baby kept trying to put them in his mouth and he definitely would have burned himself. I will be returning
