This says it will work with the Hero8. I just got mine. I see absolutely no way to connect the GP8 to this thing. The documentation is sketchy AF. You get 10 languages and basically no how to. I also cannot get the app to connect to the unit. Not impressed.Update. If you were smart enough to get the standard 1/4” tripod mount for your GP8 you can get it on here. If not, you’re SOL till you get one.Next Update: I still cannot get the Waypoint stuff to work in the app. I get an error message every time.

I love it so much, works perfect with GoPro 8Unfortunately the Tripod broken in my first day using it, I try ask amazon to send me a new tripod and they prefer send back all thing.I will buy againI recommend 100% for GoPro 8
