Savage Gear 3D Topwater Duck

Looks good on top of the water makes a lot of noise and splashes water around

This works as expected, but haven't caught a fish with it yet.

Like many people looking at this item, I've seen many a duckling get taken by large fish in the spring but was on the fence about this lure given the price tag. After finally pulling the trigger I'll say that it looks better in person. The package includes a feathered treble on a connecting rod (think trailer hook with long trailer wire) and a single feathered treble without the connecting rod. You might have to lightly bend the trailer wire to keep the feet from hitting it, or you can move it onto the bottom of the lure like I did. Tight lines.

Appears to be a well made lure. Slightly larger than i expected. Hopefully it'll catch a lunker

I recieved the Duck in the winter and couldn't wait until spring and the water to thaw. Unfortunately the feet don't spin while fishing with this one. I contacted Savage and they claimed they would send me a replacement. They never asked for my information and laugh at my attempts to contact them now.It has been over two years and no replacement.

Very good quality easy to use. I haven't caught a fish yet, but it has been busted 3 times. I left the bottom talking hook oft so it can go over Lilly pads like a frog or buzzer. It kinda acts like a buzz bait that doesn't sink. So you can reel a few feet and buzz then stop to get hit. It will catch a pike in time just haven't used it a ton.

This guy has great action in the water. I made the mistake of casting it to a shore line and it cracked a leg on my 3 toss. I have bought another and will only use in open water like humps or moving water through a narrows.

Smaller than I thought it would be. But very well constructed. Details are amazing. Looking forward to using it.

I haven't had a chance to use it yet. Since I live in Canada. This 5 star is based on the lure itself. I've been a fisherman practically all my life and dont tend to buy things just because they look good. I do research and ask questions of local angler and biologists. It's a common fact that large predatory fish eat anything that moves. So it would only make sense they would eat baby ducks. There have been stories of big pike and musky eating small dogs and even trying to down a small child. So I purchased this duckling

Wenn ich mit der Ente ans Wasser gehe kann man die Hechte schon schmatzen hören.Endlich keine untermasigen Fische mehr als beifang, aber Vorsicht auch Waller mögen diese kleine Ente.Würde sie wieder kaufen!

Looks pretty decent, was excited to use it in the next couple weeks but unfortunately it arrived with no hooks very unfortunate
