Not for all men!
If you’re a d bag and need a slap upside the head , your mama did you wrong, but don’t worry this book will help you. If you’re an intelligent understanding human seeking ways to help compassionately , throw this garbage in trash. One of the first lines “do you feel like your wife’s a monster?” Or some sh like that. I’m thinking , this is odd my wife’s not a monster . She’s a beautiful person and a best friend. She’s just sick . I obviously came to the wrong place.

I was recommended this book by my postpartum therapist
I was recommended this book by my postpartum therapist. My husband said it would have been more helpful had he had it before I had PPD but it was nice to have some of our struggles normalized. I would recommend this for any pregnant mama that might be struggling. I forgot how hard it can be to be a partner of someone who is struggling.

Useful for anyone!
I read that book when I was depressed during my pregnancy. In a very simple and elegant way it explains the causes and consequences of depression for both husband and wife. I like the book so much, that I took notes, and I never do that! It's easy and fast to read, and very-very helpful for partners of depressed women, as well as the women themselves.
