XTERRA Fitness TR600 Folding Treadmill

For the price, this is a good treadmill for running or walking. It has a long tread for running, which is the main reason I bought it.I bought this treadmill because I was moving into a house. It wasn't very easy to connect the internal cables by myself, but after I put it together, it worked great. The treadmill is super sturdy. I'm about 165 and 5'10", so it worked well for me. However, my roommate was 6'5" and 250+, so the treadmill's motor had some issues.

I ordered the TR 600 Treadmill and I was so happy when it came in... So I put it together and then I turned it on and I was ready to start my program... Then it shut off stating slow speed ugg.. so I went to YouTube to see what I can do to fix it and I seen many videos and truly nothing worked so this was a Saturday and the support was closed so then I called Monday and spoke to support team and they had me go through everything I did on Saturday Ugg... Then they said the harness needs replaced and electrical board... basically the whole system... so a week has gone by did not receives parts yet or no one has called to check.... so I spent 800 and now it just sits there.. So sad.

I bought this back in May. The first one came however it wiuld just shut itself off mid run. Amazon was great to send a replacement. Got tue 2nd one, waited to put it together while we waited for them to pick up the old one due to space issues (still havent come over a month later) finally gave up pulled the old one to the garage and put the new one together. It too has a malfunction and unfortunately i missed my deadline to return. So now i have 2 junk $700.00 treadmills at my house that i can not use.

I like the treadmill- Amazon is fantastic, now the reason for only one star!!Belt would not slow down, screen was reading that it was slowing down but the motor just kept on cranking. Even tried pressing the stop button- NOTHING Happened.. Had to remove the safety key or flip off the power switch to get it to stop. Good thing I was just testing the tracking of the belt and not actually running on it. Called Xterra to troubleshoot and discuss warranty and they informed me that Amazon is no longer an authorized dealer so they will not honor any warranty or services on the treadmill. Amazon is now sending me a brand new on to replace this one- hopefully it doesn't have similar problems!Update:Replacement has arrived- it seems to work okay after getting it set up. Pilot freight seems to have some troubles with their end agents, improper handling of the freight and totally clueless about what they're supposed to do. Still waiting on the old (broken one that was the first unit) to be picked up because the driver "Didn't have paperwork". Well they also didn't have paperwork for the delivery of the 2nd unit since it got lost and nobody bothered to investigate it until they got an irate customer on the phone. Late delivery- and nothing like what was promised. Oh well, not amazon's fault

The treadmill arrived as promised. The box is massive, so I had the freight service set it in the garage since the Installation service was coming the next morning to set it up. After spending the entire next day, ( a Saturday ) waiting, I finally gave up. They were a no call-no show. We set another date, and again, no installers. I finally paid my landscape guys to take it upstairs. Installation was a snap and I was excited to use it. The treadmill only has one speed and that's about a four minute mile. I could not slow it down or stop it. The handle controls and the display were unresponsive. The display would show speed adjustments, but the treadmill belt would not slow down or stop. I finally had to pull the safety cord. THIS UNIT IS DANGEROUS. I will post a resolution on this transaction when I have one!!!!

Great treadmill! Very heavy, about 300lbs and takes up a lot of room, but worth it. Still learning all the features, love the power incline! Arrived in great shape (ships by freight truck). Well built machine, good price & easy to assemble (16 bolts to install & you're done).

I walk 5 days per week (20min mile). This thing broke after 5 yrs. The motor went out. We greased it and took care of it. I'm ditching this brand for good. We just bought a Sole as replacement. The Exterra broke on the hand rails where the incline/heart monitor buttons are (ON BOTH SIDES) after less than a year. It has a shelf that you can place an e reader or ipad on, but it totally covers the screen which means that you can see your progress. I also hate the height of the side rails. I'm 5'7.5" and the rails are a little too high for me! There is not front bar or hand grips either. The only option is to hold the too high hand rail with those broken plastic pieces that pinch my hands. I hate this machine. Forget the warranty. I don't like it enough to wait months to get a motor and pay for a tech to come replace it. Goodbye Exterra. Hello Sole.
